he is the ascendant of liu-kang, it's his grand-grand father !

i add JONNY CAGE (MK2) and SONIA (MK1)

they are great and are my favs !

My favorites were Raiden(who I beat MK2 with), Johnny Cage(for his flashy style), and Smoke

Hmm.....I thought I read in the instruction manual that Kung-Lao is the descendant of the original tournament champion, who was also named Kung Lao (who lost to Goro, allowing Shang Tsung to seize control of the Tournament). Oh well, minor technicallity. :D Anyways, Kung Lao is the best...him and Sub-Zero. I fight the best with Kabal (MK3), but I didn't really care for him as a character.

Kung-lao, i read it in the manual i had, won the first tournament... liu kang is a direct descendant of him, that's why raiden choose him to fight !

i just don't remember why he came back thru !

jonny cage wasn't my fav, but then i saw the movie and he became one of my fav ! he was so cool in the movie :colgate:

I like Johnny Cage cuz he does that split to punch someone in the nuts.
It looks funny as hell in mk2

There's nothing to even LIKE in Mortal "K"ombat!

The Game simply sucks!!!

But, I am amazed to see how a lot ofyou people grew up playing it...

I used to like MK, until 1996 when it started to crumble releasing dumb characters like n00b saibot....

i dont know much about mortal kombat but i like subzero goro,reptile,the dude with the skeliton mask on and the dude with the hat that has fire in his hand. :corky:

I think Noob Saibot just sucks! The game would be alot better without him.

the 1st was good but it was too easy to win against someone... remember the SWEEPING bug where you could sweep the opponent over and over ?

the 2nd one showed lots of improvement like the sweeping bug fix, now you could do 3times it then the guy just knocker far from you !

then the finish were all good, except friendship and babality that had nothing to do there (kind of funny seeing them thru) but in overall the 2nd one was the BEST of all MK games !

i had enought when the 3rd came out, it was horrible how the graphics downgraded from the 2nd and the 3rd one ! the finish him/her were just too stupid and they were a lot lesser cool !

that's when the MK just fell to my feet...

yeah i know what you mean. And ppl would say "thats cheating!" or something like "how do you do that?"

i knew move for most chars in the game but i was always sub zero

i like raiden and reptile cause he spits the acid and turns invisable

Scorpion he's was the coolest with the fatality you know where he takes you to the pit of hell and alot of him come out with their axes and it goes black as they butcher them and you hear their screams. :vampv: Or with Sub-Zero the maskless one where you freeze them in a tomb of ice pic kthem up and then bash them into the ground, :vampv: Also one of my favorites when Cyrax starts spining his head around real fast flys off screen and slowly goes up and down tward you and the cuts you up like a robo vegomatic. :tounge2: Also where Smoke blows up the earth and when Earmac makes you rise up and bag agenst the ground till you break apart or anther favorite where Sang Tusung makes you rise the your body melts away and your soul is just floating there and you body's a pile of ozze. I could go on and on but I won't my favorites were Lu Cang, Raiden, Cyrax, Sub Zero(maskless),Scorpion, Sonya Blade Johny Cage with his nut cracker specil. and finaly Katana . Hey have any of you seen Scorpions Friendship? You know the one where he pulls out a jack in the box and instead of jack a skull pops out! lol* but his Skull flamethrower fatality is ok the sketeton just falls over. sighs* ultiamte and part 2 were the best but all the others royaly sucked eggs. :tounge2: :yinyang:

well i never liked mortal kombat i like only street fighter on super nintendo and playstation

Like i said... the 3rd and above of the MK games were just plain stupid to begin with but 2nd one was the best...

great graphics (we got big chars and great fatality animation)
great sound (thru it was always ah ah ah ah ah till the end)
great fatality (my all time fav was the dragon of liu kang, it was so big that they needed to turn those energy bars off)
great chars (they all had their own story and their very unique moves and fatality... no clone like the 3 robots and others, well except kitana and mileena but they had their style)

in the nut shell it was the best of them all !
too bad sonia (my fav in the 1st one) wasn't in there !

yes the second one was the best but the first one was good it was just too easy!

The 2nd MK had JAX at his best thats way I liked it
As for my favorite I think it was some kind of RPG with Subzero... :huh2:

was it called sub-zero mytholiges or something?

yeah i remember playing that sub-zero game a while ago, pretty good though
