Lets start off with God or gods:
-Many religons belive in a single God and some belive in many Gods. -These religons belive that their god or gods is in control of every aspect of life before, after, and beyond. -------------------- Could these religons be actually true? That one being or beings of unlimited power that is far uncomprehensible to man be in control of the entire universe and beyond. Many belive this to be true however many also belive this to be false. Many argue that if there were a God or gods somehow the Earth wouldnt be so corrupt with the evil doings of Humans. A counter to that arguement is simple, for God or the gods do not interfere in the matters/cares/troubles of reckless men. This debate upon if religon/religons are true is many. Will there ever be a "clear" answer to whether or not religon is true? I guess only time will tell. I for one belive science and math together with a new form of knowledge yet unknown to man will answer these questions and many others.....in the near future ofcourse. ------------------------------------- Anyhow lets move on to Humans: -Some say Humans and all other species of life on Earth and the Earth were created by God or the Gods. -Many say that ........ this is still such a stupid topic. Partly because i dont believe in any gods but i believe in science. Just like the big bang has people thinking that one person didnt create the universe. Just like when people thought of women as witches in the olden fays. It is all because a lack of knowledge. Sooner or later science will find the answer to everything as it has been doing now. I dont want to start a religion war so i will stop here. I respect your religions and do not wish to make an incident. But seeing things a new light will make you understand things better

Uhh, wrong. The "your child comes out with birthdefects" is another myth (or lie) started by the church. There is no greater chance of your child coming out with birthdefects in eigther way. Besides some may be theory or not. At School (Lynn Middle Shcool) We opend a book about Social Studies and various Events Like Ancient Mesapotamia. And others, I kept reading the dates and studying and various emperors of china and Rome. A story got to me, When jesus was teaching others. It was In a history book!! I dont know why they put religious content on a history book (Gilgamesh, Mahhamad) but of course There is still lots of things I need to learn. I'm one of the only non-believers who says yes, jesus was real, yes, mohammad was real, gilgamesh was real, and most other "profits" were real. If they did all the things they say they did is up to interpretation. Jesus was real, he did teach people, and he did have followers. If he did walk on water, if he did rise from the dead, if he did feed the people with only a couple of loaves and some fish is all up to you. History stays out of religion, because they don't know it if it was real. Plus, no one would take history sirously is it said "Yes, and then, jesus rose up from the grave OMG!" or something rediculous like that. Quote:

What does that lead to? Wars, murders, sins sins and more sins but wait! That don't matter, becuase you're going to heaven. We try to justify our wrong doings by putting on a mask of religion. Can I steal this candy bar? Yeah, if I go to church and say my prayers. Yay, free candy. A non-believer thinkings "Should I steal this candy? Well, will I get caught?" Church-goers tend to think that by being religous, they're going to heaven. Some people think that they are truly better thna other people because they think they have the right religion. Tell me, what makes your religion right? What makes it better than judaism? Buddhism? Islam? Hinduism? They all have one thing in common, which is that they're all religions, and maybe except for buddhism, all think they're the right religion, and all the rest are wrong. When this happens, again, what happens? The world gets torn appart and we all die. I shudder to think that there are some christians in this world who when sit next to a muslim, the first thing that runs threw their mind is "He's going to hell." Ask yourself, are you the right person to say this? Becuase people now days sure think they are. People like Jerry Falwell and others tihnk "Well, he believes in abortion, he's going to hell." Or "He's a muslim, he's going to hell." Or whatever else. Truley ask yourself, would Jesus like you judging people? (And i'm not saying that to you, i'm just saying it in general.) There are very few christians or religious people in this world who follow a certain religion, and truley follow the ideals of that religion and not the details. Yes, maybe in the bible it said homosexuality is a sin. It also said love thy neighbor and turn the other cheeck. Which one it more important? Some people think it's the one that makes you feel supirior and others infirior. You have to quit thinking of yourself as a member of your family. Even a member of your church. Hell, even las cruces isn't where you should be. Ask yourself, as a member of this world, what am I doing to keep it together? Are my ideas breaking it appart, or bringing it together? Quote:

well how come historians and scientists wont accept the Bible as a factual piece of observation, yet they believe Homer's observations of ancient greece. and another thing: the odessy by Homer talks about like adventures of Ulysses and wars and stuff.....and historians believe it. but when the book talks about cyclops's and dragons and such, they wont believe that part.....its gay how people pick and choose pieces of what they do and do not want to believe. There are very few christians or religious people in this world who follow a certain religion, and truley follow the ideals of that religion and not the details. Maybe even you can get aids because you had sex with your girlfriend, or did a night of bad partying, got in a car crash and needed blood, or maybe even your mom has aids.
