Well, from my understanding, Time's Person of the year isn't really the most "popular" among people... rather, one that actually makes the news for decisions he/she made or how a person affects a bunch o' ppl... in this case, the americans and their president George W bush.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the decision... but yeah 4 more years of bush; shouldn't be too bad :biggrin: |
It isn't about popularity, it means who has been the most important throughout the year.
and that has been george w bush. in '43, it was hitler, that's why they chose him then. people dont have to like him. in 01 or 02 they wanted to choose osamma, which would have been a good choice since you couldnt go 2 seconds without someone saying something about osama. isn't popuarity, it's importance. bush is important. |
