All the people living in South Florida (including me) cant wait for NBA season to start up again. The hottest trade so far this year, Laker's former center is going to the Miami Heat, in exhcange Lakers will be getting Lamar Odom, Brian Grant, Caron butler, and a first round draft pick. Everyone says that the Miami Heat will have a better record then LA Lakers next year. The polls on ESPN has spoken. IMO Miami lost some key players, but we still have the other butler, Eddie Jones, Shaq (obviously), Dwanyne Wade, and alot more. This trade may put the Heat back in 2nd (2nd to Chicago bulls when Jordan was playing for them) in the Eastern division. What do you people think about this blockbuster trade?

And on other news, Kobe Bryant might be heading to LA Clippers  nothing has been said offical, though.

do u guys think miami will win the play offs because of shaq or do the lakers have a chance cuz they got three good starters added ?

dark-guardian 07-14-2004 09:45 PM

Heat stands a good chance of winning it now since they got Shaq. And just like the Pistons prove, how many allstars u have dosent prove anything in the finals.

well the heats are somewhat screwed lost a bunch of ppl on that trade

dark-guardian 07-15-2004 04:46 PM

They didnt loose alot. We still have Eddie Jones, a good 3 pointer, the other butler, and Dwanye Wade (dominated the playoffs for the heat).
