We can't really say at moment, but judging by the specs.. I don't really know lol. PS3 seems to have more power (8 single processers running at a clock speed of 4ghz, am I right?) but it's looking like Xenon will have the graphical edge over Sony once again but who knows.

We'll just have to wait to see how they perform, hopefully at E3 2k5, if one of the final products are ready by then, or even a prototype would do.

$ilent K!ller 03-08-2005 01:48 PM

damm man i don't even know what half that stuff is im just look for the bigger number :D

~Mastermax~ 03-08-2005 02:03 PM

nybody reaize the word Xenon has nothing to do with videogames at all, look slike they were ust trying to get a word that sounds "hardcore", it's a fliping element...

Kingryu1 03-08-2005 02:13 PM

T'is actually the codename (or one of many) codenames for Xbox 2. Theres X

Green Viper 03-08-2005 02:21 PM

SolidSnake76 03-08-2005 02:23 PM

we can never be sure though on whats going down since they are still in production....

but like the rainbow, believe in the cell.

and PS3's 4GHz compared to X-Box2 500+MHz? c'mon....

alamgir 03-09-2005 10:20 AM

Well from the specs you've given us the winner seems unanymous. Anyway does anyone know when either comes out?

$ilent K!ller 03-09-2005 12:03 PM

I knew that let me think...it must have slipped my mind i'll find out and get back too u

PS3 is suppose to be releaved in a week or 2:

March 8, 2005 - Sony will unveil the PlayStation 3 to its key executives in an internal meeting next week, according to a story on GamesIndustry.biz. The article reports that the news comes from "senior sources" close to Sony at this year's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Sony has already stated officially that the PlayStation 3 will be revealed for the first time at this year's E3 in Los Angeles, where rivals Microsoft and Nintendo are also expected to reveal their next console offerings.

Apparently, next week's meeting is for Sony executives only, and even the company's top developers are not invited to the event.

Sony did not return our request for comment by the time of this writing.

If the internal meeting is indeed happening, it seems likely that not only are the PS3's specifications finalized, but a software demonstration should be part of the presentation -- Sony has sent advanced software kits to developers both here and in Japan already.

Either way, we're just a few months away from E3, where the PlayStation 3 will make its first public bow at last. We'll be there, of course, bringing you every tasty detail -- as well as back with more updates in the meantime.

YEa wut about nintendo wut do they have to offer THE ''GamCubeXtreme'' ???

Kingryu1 03-09-2005 01:40 PM

Actually they have the "N5". I forgot the codename for it, its probaly N5 =/

Anyway like I said.. all they are, are rumors. They most likely won't be official, though they may be close. We'll just have to see in a week or two if they decide to reveal them.

akuma_forever 03-09-2005 08:25 PM

Judging by the systems specs for both machines, they pretty much even out for the average gamer. For the more technologically-induced person, he/she'd notice some differences among the PS3 and X2.

I'd say the systems pretty much even each other out. The PS3 has advantages over the X2, and vice versa.

But the specs don't matter if you own both systems, now do they?

pip99 03-10-2005 07:09 AM

I used 2 be a playstation dude but im likin the look of the Xbox2 man.

alamgir 03-10-2005 07:49 AM

You've seen the official design?

Fighter450 03-10-2005 11:01 AM

ps3

ryzcvk 03-10-2005 11:11 AM

Let just hope they change the memory cards for the PS3 and make it like the X-box where we dont have to purchase memory cards when the other one is full. For the X-Box , hoping to see a smaller and a lighter controller.

Green Viper 03-10-2005 11:23 AM

yeah they will most likely get rid of that bulky poop in x2 coz if they dont, they r just a bunch of retards. except that 1 defect, x2 seems awesome

Shinatsu 03-10-2005 12:13 PM

Yeah, can't wait to see them both
Can't say much about the specs unless u put it in english
lol

[quote:post_uid0="ryzcvk"]Let just hope they change the memory cards for the PS3 where we dont have to purchase memory cards when the other one is full.
what they need to do is put like 12 or 30MB on the memory card. i gonna have to get another1 just for online play.

akuma_forever 03-10-2005 08:48 PM

True, but more memory means a higher price tag. I'd say built in memory is the way to go.

Green Viper 03-11-2005 11:20 AM

yeah built-in is a lot better than having to run here & there to buy cards

alamgir 03-11-2005 12:40 PM

I like cards because they're portable, so I can continue my game saves somewhere else, say a friends house. Built in memory is good but I know i'm gonna buy a card in the end and it might go to waste so I don't see much point.

Angel-Eyes 03-11-2005 12:59 PM

howbout built in memory cards.......? just remove them if you want to take them somewhere

alamgir 03-11-2005 01:15 PM

Now that would be good.

AfterMath 03-11-2005 04:33 PM

agreed^^^ that would be very nice.

xbox surprised me so much, it was like the underdog, and it came through from scratch and kicked ass...so im hoping it does it again...

evryoung8998 03-11-2005 04:42 PM

lemme correct KingRyu in his post about the "N5". The correct name that was used in the new nintendo rumor was called "The Nintendo Dolphin" and yes the new xbox is called xbox-2/ or xbox squared

D-Shizznit 03-11-2005 05:39 PM

can i just say this.. its not called xbox2 its called xbox next or Xenon

evryoung8998 03-11-2005 07:08 PM

it's called xbox squared u know da little 2 on top

wolf_123 03-11-2005 07:59 PM

.............i would go for ps3 but i am a x box fan............ but x box 2 looks weird i saw pictures for it....... :Oo: :suspect:
so i am going to have to go with the bigger number lol....... :buttrock:
