does anyone else think chunli is tooo powerful?
her supers are super strong, and she is as quick as a cat, i mean she can do a super and hit u right after it, u cant even counter, i was having trouble seeing where she is because of all the lag, and then she pulls off a super when ur jumping, and u cant block...

well im just bitching about her supers, cuz both of them are the strongest in the game ( i think ). maybe it can be slim down a bit ?? ( tmy u can put this in "low priority" or sumthin' ) :biggrin:

Wolverine has the strongest super, the only one I know of that could match him is onslaught. wolverines berserker barrage x = half a lifebar gone with full impact.

chun li is better being more powerfull because she is the hardest character to use at the minute

The thing about you guys is that you use Ryu cyclops and Sentinel. Those three have a lot of power in projectiles. She doesn't. Her best special is the lightning kick, and her strongest Hyper is the Senretsu Kyaku, which, by the way, can be stopped easily by projectiles. She has more start-up time for her hypers, and more ending time as well, which leaves her open to attack. I think this may be why she is stronger with strength. Because she has been handicapped in those other abilities.

when akuma comes out or ken ill tost whoever uses chun;li be cause im the master of thos to

right.... So is Troy88 who can actually perform Infinites with Ken.

and yeah, i guess she's pretty powerful, but her normal and special moves are total crap, so i guess it balances out in the end.

If you think about it that is mostly her down fall and or weaknesses.Also then we have her kind factors the chunli.When she performs her super you get cught in it in the air you get pushed out.Now if it were ryu you would not get out but be pushed to the back :biggrin: Lighting Kick goes right through you if your smart enough to do your block right or jump.

hmm i am not trying to change her but just want a few things fixed..

- u get hit when someone does a super (even if ur away from it) ... it occurs with every character i think...

- her super fireball is not counterable, like when she starts up (i know the name just not sure, dont wanna make a fool of myself :biggrin:)

- her supers are too strong, i didnt mind it to be a little strong, but hella strong?
unlike wolverine she has more than enough supers so i dont know why it should be THAT strong

chunli is super fast, she shouldnt be powerful too..
becuz every character should have a weak point..
for ex.

sentinal - strong but slow
wolvie - fast but no projectiles
but...
chunli - fast and strong

once again, Zero. Chun li's Hypers are very easy to avoid and stop. Each have extra amounts of Lag going into or getting out of. Plus, any beam hyper can go straight through her kikoushou, and anything can stop her Senretsu Kyaku. And her Hazaan Tensho Kyaku is powerful, but the only thing is that it never hits. And what speed are you talking about? She isn't as fast as Ryu or Wolverine.

I'm one of the best females here thats good with chunli.Chunli is the one person im really good with in this game. ;) Ryu and his damn fireballs r my problem in this game

wolverine - OK but strong hyper

and my bad, Chun Li is fast when it comes to dodging and appear in front or behind you, excessively due to lag (trying to sound smart)

and one more thing i notice is sentinal force should do 3 hits maybe?

Ok Zero, now you're under-estimating everyone elses hypers. Sentinel's hyper is hard to avoid, and isn't that slow. Cyclops has a hyper that can move around and still cause heavy damage. Ryu's Shinkuu Tatsumaki Shenpuu Kyaku inflicts as much damage as the Senretsu Kyaku and pulls people into it. Wolverines Hyper is fast and causes heavy chip damage. They're hypers are just as strong as Chun-li's and maybe even stronger.

chunli's supers maybe powerful, but it's almost impossible to charge up her power bar as fast as other characters.

wolverine is very slow. everyone of his attacks has a tremendous recovery time. this leaves him EASILY for supers.

Now, moving on...
Sentinel's Hyper is ok, yeah, but still his beam is as big as Cyclop's Mega Optic Blast! It takes a lot of chip damage as well, and has a higher chance of hitting, since it's a beam that goes across the screen, and Chun-li's Kikoushou is just a small barrier like attack. Plus, the Sentinel Beam hyper can go through Chun-li's Kikoushou.

Ryu is the same as Sentinel, except that he has the Shinkuu Haduken in the air and it has a very VERY small amount of start up time. In other words, anyone could knock Chun-li away using Ryu's Shinkuu Haduken, especially if she used the kikoushou, Senretsu Kyaku, or the Hazaan Tensho Kyaku.

Wolverine packs WAY more power into his hyper than any of
Chun-li's. Plus, it stops the Senretsu Kyaku, and has 0 lag till when he can nail the first blow when he uses hypers. Not many attacks get that, and none of Chun-Li's hypers get that except for the Senretsu Kyaku which you could just jump over.

Tmy App said her problem will be fix soon......he just needs time......U'll have to wait a while for CHun-li's power to lower down.......

well,being the pro with chun-li,i have to admit she is alittle to powefull,but not as strong as wolverine when he gets weapon x and onlsaught (if you no how 2 use onslaught good)but she is not unbeatable...

anyway the reason why i made this topic...

is becuz, i have a fast computer now (didnt have any problem with her in 5fps) and when i fought Jr i beat him, but then he chose chunli, he does her 'rapid kick hyper' and i block it, then i try to jump over her, but he repeated the hyper, and i got hit, when i tried to counter after i blocked, it was unaffective and he did another hyper.. i played him and lost time and time again.. (notice i tell the truth :D)
this problem also occurred when i fought someone else..
maybe its a bug or something, or my game goes to fast... (40fps)

but u do know chun li is still too powerful..i say
..her hypers may be easily dodged, but she can easily dodge hypers :D
