There's not going to be a SF game coming out in a while, not even in a year; for now, it seems that Capcom is done with making SF games, and focusing on other games, and it's hard to make a SF game when fighting games don't sell (and especially 2D games), they haven't thought of a relevant storyline yet, which makes them think (which Capcom doesn't like doing).

If there is going to be a "brand" new SF game (not a rehash or a best of type game), it'll probably be a crossover type game with SNK. They lost the rights with marve|, so any marve| type game is out of the question.

yea, but street fighter anniversary is coming out.. :biggrin: really just a mix of the games that they made, not really a new thing..

i believe theyre putting out a remake of third strike for ps2. as for new ones, i dont think thats going to happen anytime soon. it'd be cool if they released alpha 4 though.

they should come up with a nicely put toghether xbox version with great 3d graphics... i mean, if they did it with doa they can easily do it with street fighter.

There probably won't be any new sf games anytime soon and if there were Akuma would never be left out he's just too much of an important and popular charachter

yea, capcom is maybe trying to go on to higher levels now. creating new things, and not to many fighting games..... but there might be one in the near future, but no time soon.

mortal combot used to be 2d but they have deadly allience so they could make an sf game in 3d which would be cool and could come out for the latest systems dont you think? but it'll probably take some time ..
