guys internet test are bullpoop, if youwanna check out your real i.q phone mensa the offical i.q test organisation and they will send out a test for u to do which u have to return back (for a charge), i got 135 in that test which puts me among the top 2% of the population.

Actualy it does because U may research answers online, use a calculator, use a dictionary (my sister who is 21 has done all this whie taking an IQ test and she still got 123 lol :withstupid: )

I I took alittle while doing it the honest way......I didn't cheat I did it all in my head.

I think my score was lowered because of time.

floaterz I'm 17 also..

and I'll take that test later....I'll do much better without time...I like to ponder over questions....bad habit...=/

PS=something tells me roll make think of some RPG using these scores as our magic ability status...but whatever...:colgate:

and I like taking my time too I probably read the last 5 questions like 10 times before i answered so I think that lowerd my score a bit cuz I took forever to think of my answer.

msi that's impossible cuz i redid the test for fun to see what putting only true would get me (I'm like that) and it scored a 107

Im a little disapointed but tricky math questions and statistics were never my forte.

but a univeristy graduate...thats kinda sweet , because now I feel ready for college.. even if that test was bullpoop :laugh:

Ok, im really tempted to close this topic simply because of how decieving it is. An online test like this really cant do a good job of scoring yer IQ, especially since IQ is SUPPOSED to be measured at a younger age (ie, 7-9). Further, IQ does NOT go up with age--it is pretty much static, which is why it will report a higher IQ for older test takers--the questions are formulated for a YOUNG test taker.

Finally, IQ is generally no longer accepted as a good indication of anything, since it judges more what you know than how intelligent you are.

Proof that these tests are wank? i got like a 189 on one of these. My REAL IQ is 138 or so.

Also, their scale is off--professionals do not necessarially have higher IQs. The GENERAL idea is yer development level compared to the norm--130 means you have 1.3x the intelligence of the average person your age. This has NOTHING to do with knowledge of history.

100 is defined as the average. a level of 135-140 is defined as gifted, and much higher than that is considered genius.

Researchers with a thourough knowledge of everything can easily have an IQ of 110; they KNOW a lot, but may not be as mentally "quick" at math, or problem solving, or spatial relationships, or word games as a 11 year old with an IQ of 120, whether he knows a lot or not.

Basically, these tests indicate NOTHING practical, and real IQ tests arent a full indicator either.

Yeh IQ doesn't always consider how clever you are, as it only tests you in certain fields. but it is quite fun to compare your results with other people wo have taken the same test tho.

the reason i scored this high was because i am very good in math and i am going to college to major in chemical engineering if some of you do not know what a chemical engineer does...ill tell you..a chemical engineer has several things they can do...like designing car parts etc..i know you all have had to heard about a company called GM(General Motors) and i had to take calculis in high school just to be able to major in chemical engineering and its not fun..not too hard though

lol that iq test is a fluke...the higher u put ur age the better ur score...i put myself as age 12 and got 153 iq lol..

k last time i did the test i got 142... after that i been studying i took it again and got a 170... maybe i should study more....

lol the test is a fluke...studied my ass azncat u kept doing the test over and over lol remembering answers to some of the questions...studying has nothing to do with this test i just took it again and guessed finished it in like 2min and got a 162 better then my score when i read it...either time must be a big factor or the test is just fhked up lol =\

my bro is 11 he guessed the last 18 questions and got a 130 o.o

I took floterzs test and I got 106. Lol I got a 106 but I am barely 11.
