This G A M E will be good I can tell... especially from what ive heard so far

well... last time i checked, those FREE WEB SITES with no ADS or BANNER were all under 25megabytes, which for images and movies, will need more then 25 !

lycos offers me a whole 50 megabytes and i can ask for 100 if i need to !
which i think iwill need to sometimes later !

but i'm looking into it as we speak !

NO FTP ACCESS unless you PAY for it.
41megabytes of FREE SPACE...

but here is the worst part ever !
100megabytes of bandwith before the sites gets shut for the month !
if you don't know what it means...
i'll tell you, a web site that is 50k big will be visited by 2000 persons before getting shut down for the month.
but my web site including images, movies is now... 1.06megabyte
so... only 100 persons can get on it for the month.
my web site is not over with, there is again another megabyte of data that will come in.
so another megabytes means... 2.12megabytes of data.
which means only 50 persons will be able to see the site for a month !

see where i go like that...
nah, lycos offers at least a GIGABYTE of bandwith... which is just enough for a big web site like i have !

yes i do say big, but not POPULAR WISE ok, i mean big by data on it !

on my web site, i'll be able to have like 100,000 persons to visit it before it gets shutted for the month !

so i say no to the offer of FREEWEBS who is ideal for those that puts only their CV up there !
for real web sites... its no good !

NO FTP ACCESS unless you pay for them means that you have to upload your files one after the other which i don't want to !

i'm doing that already yeah...
but at least i can queue up my files and let it upload all night !
which i can't with FREEWEBS !
and yeah, free web does have a banner...
but its disabled for now, until when, i don't know !
so no, i just don't want any surprise on this site and free webs seems to reserves a lot of surprise considering that all i have said about it had to be searched all over the web site to be found, they don't even say what you can and what you can't do !

to have those data on the web hosting, i had to create an account then look at my stats for this account !

stupidity itself, i tell you !

so, host your site at freewebs, and host ur stuff at lycos. simple =/

uhh...kingryu,... WHAT?! i got a website hosted by freewebs and trust me! it kinda sux! especially if its being hosted for free, u cant download any music, cant use multiple file downloader and u can only download like 30 files! lycos, is a waay better host than freewebs

another day, another update !
i'll start small.

- updated Navigation Bar (looks more professionnal now)
- added two new section to the menu.
(actually, The News section is this page)
- added the forum link. (i remade my forum, feedback for the IRC site will be sent there)

not much for updates huh !

ANGELFIRE and MULTIMANIA have both been BOUGHT by LYCOS.FR but are still two different web hosters. its still two companies tho.

well... compared to X-FORCE, my site is nothing more then a very very very simple website.

but i accept the compliment !

as for the seldom thing....
nah, they will never shut it up even if its been two years without using it !
they will shut it down if the site has anything illegal on it.
EXAMPLE:
on MULTIMANIA they got a LEGAL METER on the site when you log in.
if that meter goes from green to RED, that means you're illegal and that the site will get deleted if you do not do something about that illegality !

as long as it stays on the green side, it will never get deleted !

next question...
i'm using their MULTIANIA counterpart, its better then ANGELFIRE !
ANGELFIRE never appealed to my eyes !
and yeah, it can be possible, lycos is a very big company right now and its still buying a lot of FREE WEB HOSTING companies of any kind !

i know that ANGELFIRE and MULTIMANIA has been bought by lycos. i know lycos must have bought others as well !
in any case, on all those i suggest MULTIMANIA, its the best up to now !

** DEVELOPEMENT NEWS **
i putted the GRAPHICS aside in the IRC site.
i cannot find a way to do things i want and lots of bugs been coming up in it. so its on PAUSE for now. since with no graphics you cannot see anything of what happens. i'm adding an ANNOUNCER that will tell you everything that happens during the fight. it was something i already wanted to do so its just gonna be added way faster then it would have been !

anyway... the site has been going very slow those days. i am bored at home and i kinda can't script well when i'm bored so i'm relaxing by doing seomthing else.

don't forget to look at the forum some times. my developpements are writen there as well !
