i am hitting my opponent,i know this.i have the requirements to play the game but nothing,nothing will hurt my opponent,not even ryu's huge hadoken(down,forward,u,i,o)

I know how u feel..That mean that u have lag, u will get use to it soon..Anyway try making your screen smaller,than there will be less lag.

U guys are new to the game...well..welcome to the world of lag. Its lag that makes it seem that ur opponet isnt taking any damage.

Yes late damage does help.

I always use Lag to an advantage(or i always try to)

lag has never been my friend..
it also makes matches last longer then what they should.

lag has never been my friend either....i heard that lag makes u think that ur hitting ur opponent but actually ur not..alot of times ur opponent is behind u..but i dont know if this is true. u can reduce lag some by reducing ur screen size, turning the music off, and turning on slow connection(for high lag)in the options-network. that all i know about reducing lag.

lag is stubid................. if u have this prob. just turn off your computer and turn it on again thats what i do ;)

treefrog, u cant get rid of lag. it is there til u die. there are a few things u can do to reduce it.
1)reduce ur screen size
2)turn the music off
3)turn lag boost on- options,network,slow connection for high lag.

ugh one time I fought this guy and I was winning by so much and then when his life got low it stayed there and wouldn't go down anymore :huh2: and I know I thought it was lag but then after a long time of beating him up and his life wasn't even moving till he finally beat me. I was so enraged! then in the chat he said some kind of hack program or something so I didn't know if he meant that he used that program or what.
but anyway about the lag thing, every time lag happens to me I'm usually chun li so I repeatedly jump backwards away from the opponent, dodging all the attacks that I can't see and it works very well too :corky: but since chun li can jump 3 times it works very well with her :D and while I'm jumping backwards I also block attacks that happen to hit me during that short period when I'm on the ground :hehe:

that doesnt help b/c lag is unpredictable. u think ur hitting ur opponent but actually ur not. so i guess were gonna have to live with it.

If everyone in this game had high-speed connection(that will never happen) would there still be lag? just curious. :baaa:

Damn straight there is lag on high speed conections! i hit a guy with 3 wolvie supers when he was at danger. didn't scratch him.

p.s. if your curious i did beat him eventually
