When I log in at school it works but I downloaded it at home so it will go faster but when I log in at home it says
"unable to authenticate. Please check your Login/password
or create a new account"
I know it works because if I log in as player it works like normal. also if I try to create a new account it tells me I have an outdated versoin but I just downloaded it.

ur probadly missing a file..
try putting all the sfo files together in 1 folder..

it happen to my friend when he downloaded all the files, and i told him to use the web version and he said it to slow for him, which i don't know why he say that, if the downloaded version don't work try the web version, remember that u have to keep using the web version so it can load up fast, cuz if i don't use the web version it take 10-20 minute, depend on the speed u have for the internet. You must be missing a file dude!!!!!!! ???

your either missing the multiuser file or you have a pop up blocker than isn't allowing the login to go through. try disabling that if thats your case :biggrin:

umm....you may need to be on the internet first...(espacaily
AOL users without cable,broadband,etc.) if DSL,etc. you don't need to be on the internet "pages" to play...if the latter is true for you you are missing a file...

Can anyone post a list of exactly what I should have because it might have messed up during downloading. and what are you talking about I have a long way to go. I could kick any of you guys' asses in marve| vs. capcom 2 offline.

if your usig the download version try using the web version and vica versa :biggrin:

I got the internet version to work anyway.

when u r downloading somthin r doing somthin that has alot of kb could make it take longer to login..

happens to me when i be scanning my comp for viruses or downloading a cd..

never have more than 1 thing occuring while your logging in... :biggrin:
