Heres the story ive downloaded streetfighteronline and i tried it, it then says im missing some shockwave stuff so i knew is the flash player. I downloaded it off streetfighteronline. This time it's working i got to the start menu i can do everything apart from story mode and start(playing online) it freezes when I click on it, so i had to close the appication.

Well, the simplest answer I can conjure up from the problems you've just given is that one/more of the cct files required for the game to work is/are curropted.
You'd have to redownload the whole lot of SFO Programs from http://www.streetfighteronline.com/download.htm and make sure you save all of them in one "new" folder. Extract the game and start playing. i stumbled across this problem when my friend tried to make a log-in 4 himself. when we entered the username, password & e-mail address(we went to new account on the log-in screen), it said that we have an outdated version of the game ??? what's up with that?

but i went to the mirror download. isnt that automatically supposed to give u the latest version of the game?

If you're seeing the outdated version screen, then you might need to clear your cache.
Click Tools, Internet Options and delete internet files. You might wanna delete offline blah blah blah as well :biggrin: After that, restart your computer and load up the game again. You should be okay :biggrin: |

I've updated "The Game" link on X-Force 2010... so any regular visitors should not have the "out of date" error anymore...least till thegame gets updated again.

@Crushloses: My yonger siblings encountered this problem while trying to play SFO. I fixed this problem by downloading "Shockwave Player 8.5" just as "MAXIMUM_SPIDER" stated.
"Shockwave 8.5? But I've downloaded this already". The Shockwave player the main page of http://www.Macromedia.com displays a shortcut to a shockwave player that gives a different version. It gives version: 10.1.0.11. SFO requires Shockwave 8.5 to play. You can find Shockwave Player 8.5 at: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/kn...fm?id=tn_18629 Scroll down a bit until you face a chart. Look under the "Shockwave Player 8.5 (English) version.Which ever Operating system you have, (ie. Windows, Mac), download the version that appears under their tabs. If this doesn't help, or your 100% sure you already have Shockwave 8.5, I'm not too sure what the problem is. |
Another one ran into this problem. Well,I have to. And Blanka09 helped me with it. He said to download all the charecter files,so I did. Still wasen't working. Then I downloaded all the files again and it worked. So make sure your doing that and not just the charecter files :D .

How strange. Well, you should trying playing the web version of SFO. Thats the only advice I can give to you for now. If the web version isn't working either, something is wrong. :confused:
