clean your cache..or try re-installing shockwave again and make sure all your files are in the same folder...
|
i've done that already, what files r u talking about i'm not using download version
|
shockwave files...
|
if you updated windows, and you already have the shockwave plugins (they are what tell your PC how to run the game..and you definetly have them if you can start the game...even though you may not be able to play) You may need to update your shockwave plugins. you can do that at http://macromedia.com
Also try using the downloadable version. It may run better then the URL version of the game. Edited By nosoul4evr on April 17 2004 at 15:44 |

i told you.. http://macromedia.com
...just reinstall shockwave and you should have the plugin's..they come with shockwave and are not a seperate file you need to d/l... If you have tried all the advise given to you here in the forum as well as read and tried all help found in the http://streetfighteronline/faq/ Try reading the macromedia shockwave FAQ http://www.macromedia.com/support/sh.../playerfaq.htm Edited By nosoul4evr on April 17 2004 at 16:45 |
I have been installing shockwave over and over again, still nothing happens. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling nothing happens. PLease someone help me

If you have reinstalled shockwave (you say you have)
..and you have reloaded the url version of the game after dumping your temp files....and you have tried using the downloadable version of the game, then... We have helped you as much as we possibly can....you can only help yourself from this point on.. The only way you do that is to read the FAQ's. If you were able to play the game before....then you most certainly can play it again. One last word of advice is for you to shut off/disable any firewall/anitivirus programs you may be running. They will make it so you can not play the game...but you know that already. ;) Edited By nosoul4evr on April 17 2004 at 17:27 |
And don't just install any shockwave player, Try installing the newest version of macromedia shockwave!!!
|
I was installing the latest version...btw I've fixed the problem now. I had to do a system restore
|
Oh and can someone help me increase my fps or give me tips on how to increase it. Before I did all that system restore it was 37 or 38 most of the time, but now its 20-23 most of the time.
|
you can not make ur FPS higher. The only way is by not running that much program. If you have many program open. your FPS will go very low. Like 3.3333
It happen to me today. I was wondering y i couldn't move very good then i went to end task and check my performance and i saw that i was running IE (internet explorar) once i removed it. It went to 39-50 FPS |
Goto task manager and disable as many non-essentail proccesses as possible.
The more programs/applications you have running while you are trying to play the game, the slower your game will run and the lower your frame rate will be.. Edited By nosoul4evr on April 18 2004 at 01:45 |
