how do i put a banner on a signature ???

First you need to host it....you can host it on sites like Angelfire

If its already hosted then just goto the next step v

Put the url to the banner like this in your sig:

[code:1]http://www.blar.com/yourbanner.gif[/code:1]

yeah its already hosted... i made it.... so ryumaster just do what ledmonkey said (the second option he said)

after obtaining a url address for your pic, go to your control panel + personal info + edit profile + put the image code on the signature section...

why do you have to have a url address to host it

isnt there a way around that?

bcoz you cant possibly post an image on the web without a url address bsides, this forum isnt like the others where you can upload pics right to it so you have to have your own

um i finally got the URL banner but when i put it on signature all that comes out is the address??? did i do something wrong?

i checked your pic's url
i think theres wrong on your file naming

better change/rename the filename of your pic
naming url's are character/case sensitive
it should NOT have a space and DONT try to put unique text characters on it

save your pic on your hardrive then send it to me via email attachment and ill host it for you

My banner aint workin i out th code and everything, and it works on all other fourms except this one. It comes up as a red X.

i don't get it ???

look its easy use a domain to host ure banner like angelfire which is easiest...
save ure banner on a JPG format...
once u upload ure banner to angel fire web shell rename it since if younotice the jpg will be capital letters...
example...
spidey.JPG
what u have to do is rename it so the JPG is in lowercase...
example:
spidey.JPG
(rename)
spidey.jpg
after that u view ure banner and get ure address from the address bar...
now u come here and enter profile signature and u do the thingy and there :laugh: :laughlong: :laugh:
