Well I tried to get the new shockwave, and when I downloaded it, it was goin well until I tried to install it. The instalation window pops up and stays at "1%" and it is like flashing and lines are going in and out of it and it stays at 1% for like an hour. Then when I cancel it the window pops up and says insufficient disk space or whatever, please help me
:(

Only reply to this if you can really help me, please ?

Angel-Eyes 07-31-2004 06:15 AM

lack of RAM?

TJ5 07-31-2004 07:21 PM

MSN internet explorer, is there anyway for me to delete shockwave and download it again ?

alamgir 08-01-2004 06:08 AM

Well click on control panel>add or remove programs, search the list of programs and click shockwave>remove/change. After uninstalling it you might be able to reinstall by downloading the latest version again.

My friend had the problem one time. And he had to put the files on the desktop, then make the SFO Folder and put the files on the desktop, and put them in the SFO folder "manualy".

go to this topic and check out the videos.

Also, try re-installing Shockwave 8.5 again. (from http://www.streetfighteronline.com/download.htm

Note: Make sure you un-install it first.

umm you can always make sure...push alt+control+delete and then click on task manager then goto the processes tab and see if thier is a IEXPLORE.exe running and if their is just right click it and end TASK. but it's best to unistall shockwave 10 if you only have that installed and install 8.5 1st then shockwave 10 over that for less problems.

TJ5 08-01-2004 08:42 PM

I uninstalled Shockwave and did 8.5 and it is still doing it :(

Also I went to processes and it doesn't show iexplorer.exe at all.

Are you saying he has a slow computer and it does not have space for shockwave and thats the problem right?

TJ5 08-04-2004 09:59 PM

SSJKeenan 08-05-2004 07:51 AM

Look just go here, and download the latest ShockWave ok  no lock this topic because the problem is sloved

Bob~Marley4004 08-05-2004 08:40 AM

Well, SSKeenan, if you would read the posts of TJ5 on the other page, you would have seen that he already try that... and it still sayed the system said the browsers are open... and also, the lastest version of Shockwave is not on the link.. thats Shockwave 8.5 brotha

dude, why do you always say, "now close this topic because the problem is solved"?? If the topic creator says he/she solved the problem or if a Admin/Mod/NWO sees that the topic creator has succesfully got his answer this solved his problem, then it shall be closed... but otherwise, the topic should always be OPEN!

I'm not trying to fuss or make an arguement, im just trying to correct you... always read b4 you post brotha

Speed shouldn't matter if you wait, but he has enough space on his pc. Just use IE TJ5.

TJ5 08-07-2004 07:15 PM

I used IE and it did the same thing, is there a way I can use IE without using msn at all to sign in ?

EvilAkuma 08-07-2004 07:53 PM

Here the way to fix it. This has happen to me before hopefully this help.

Clean your cache. Then remove shockwave from your pc. by going. Start>Control Panal>Add/Remove Program. Find shockwave. Remove it. After that go to www.streetfighteronline.com then click on start>mirror1 then a shockwave should pop up. Do all that stuff. After that go back to www.streetfighteronline.com then click on start>download and download the shockwave and hopefully this will help you
