Ken and Akuma are pretty much Ryu clones (I mean, aside from the atire, there wasn't much "the makers" had to change in the way of moves). And besides, Ken is another one of those Projectile type characters...

Only one of the current 5 characters has no projectiles at all.. and Wolverine's 1 on 1 tactics are attack like there's no tommorow and corner raping techniques making Wolvie vs. Wolvie battles much less than enjoyable.

I'd much rather see a non-projectile character put out there like Sabertooth or Rogue (Rogue can use projectiles ONLY when fighting against a projectile user).

But, however much I'd like to see that happen.. the majority of the voters will be newbies and people who never post/register in the forum, and will almost certainly put up a strong vote for the Ken/Akuma characters and a semi-strong one for Gambit..

What?! No Capcom characters?!?! That means...no Mega Man, and means...it's really not a NO LIMITS thing, how can we be sure TMyApp hasn't been replaced with a drinking bird?

Yeah I would've wanted Strider or Captain Commando... but this is X-men(Marvel) vs. Street Fighter

Ken Is NOT a Clone he has his own thing going on he is a close range fighter He can use the Hadoken so what that doesn't make him a projectile character. The only special thing he can do with it is shot verticaly. He relys on the shoryuken, dragon punch, ShinRyuken, Shiryueppa, And the the super Kick witch is in no way like any of Ryu or Akuma's attacks so will you all quit with the put down Ken tactics!? He's not a projectile er he can just use it as a distraction or a block move. it's all part of his cool sneekey personality Ken Is the Ying of the two shotoken characters. Ryu is the Yang and you can't have Yang without Ying can you? Didn't think so Vote Ken! or Sakura :corky: :tounge2: :yinyang:

Sure Ken and Akuma are. Just look at their arsonal. There are very few unique moves that Ryu/Ken/Akuma have.
*note a move that's preformed the same way but has different color/animation is a clone. :biggrin:

And the fact that Ken (a caucasian) stands about eye to eye with Ryu (an oriental) is a dead give away :biggrin:

Personally.. i think Ryu/Ken/Akuma should all be available through ryu.. just like in MvC.... its not exactly Xmen vs Street fighter... but a little improvision never hurt anyone..
