i think akuma should be the next character after chung-le

It would be far too easy to bring in Akuma, since he has the same powers as Ryu, and they can be acheived the same way. There's a lot of characters in X-Men vs Street Fighter, and most aren't Shotokan people. Why not actually reflect the diversity by putting more of the X-Men in it, or at least Street Fighter characters who don't go, "Hadoken"? It seems to me that it's the X-Men's turn anyway. If players are desperate for a character with energy beams I direct your attention to Cyclops, who can actually aim his super optic blasts in the middle of doing it. Wait, the opponent moved to the other side of the screen, or is up in the air? No prob.

If Akuma shows up at all, I'd like to see the button combinations different from Ryu's, just so players would have a different learning curve.

I don't Think that changing the buttons for Akuma would be such a good idea because then the people would get mixed and and be pressing the wrong buttons all the time so i don't think changing the buttons is a solution to really be thinking about!!

luigi i agree to what you are sayin but i still think that chun li shouldnt be coming next i think charlie should!!!

in my opinion i think that any XMen should be piked and any sf should be pick too cause after all we all gonna be happier when the game will be finish...

all remember that the game is still in alpha stage and perhaps lesser than that, so what about waiting for tmy to make a poll for the next char !

for my part ill try to stay easy cause i know we will end up with a really fun game with no lag and no bugs with all the char in the game !

Well, the button combinations for Ryu's moves are different here from what they are in the game. So I don't think it would be too hard to make Akuma's buttons different from Ryu's. Otherwise, we just have a slightly different version of Ryu, but not enough of a difference to merit Akuma's presence.

Actually The maker Of the game loves cyclops as his fave player so he prob will be next but it is really up to us!!!!
