RYU WINS! thats the most commonly heard ending to most battles when wolverine is pit against Ryu..Ryu is the fighter i see most frequently chosen by my opponents as well...Wolverine needs another tweak in my opinion...his jumps always appear to fall just a hair to short for the jump over your opponent trick...how bout adding in the jump offa the wall idea..to help aid in avioding Ryu's power blast,..thats just my 2 cents worth

Well, no. I've been able to defeat many a Ryu player with Wolverine.

only reason i mention it is because i was in a battle with inclusive and i noticed that when up close in battle he was able to blast me with mutiple fireballs one after another,since as soon as one fireball hits you.,you can immediatly fire another,even before the animation for the first has even ended...the scenario was:
inclusive and i coincidentaly jumped in unison and he opened fire and actualy hit me with 4 fireball before we hit the ground..it was totaly revolting...i almosted tossed my cookies right then and there...may be have Ryu's fireballs push the 2 opponent appart more to slow the rapid fire thing...ya know what i mean?

I couldnt beat anyone with him, i only use him when i know i will lose anyway

ryu is a better all around. but wolverine is fast i like speed better myself.

Well use Ryu to beat Wolverine but Wolverine has to use he's claws and Ryu just has to do he's fireballs but it's still not really easy well for some of u guy's

Wolverine needs a way he can avoid Ryu's power blast just like Ryu can super jump into the air to miss most or all of a BeserkerX charge.

Also the Beserker X charge should pull people towards you (like Ryu's super kick does) instead of pushing them away. About the only way I can get someone to take the full damage of a BeserkerX charge is to corner them to where they cant move backwards. And when I do that people call me cheap or a cheater.

I always use wolverine, cause not many others do. I like to be different even if Im not in the top 10.

What are you on?? Two things. Hurricane kick doesn't suck you in. Berseker Barrage shouldn't suck you in. I tried it in the game. They don't suck you in.

Why does Hurricane Kick pull me towards Ryu then? I'd stay away if I had a choice, but I dont.

This is where TMyApp "genius" comes in. Excluding this game there are numerous games where Ryu's Hurricane Kick sucks (you in). They in Marvel vs. Street Fighter, Pocket Fighter, and many more.

I think zaknefein means that the Berserker Barrage X sucks in the opponent after the initial hit.

Still doesn't happen in arcade.
