You know when you host and you press menu it takes you back to your host?
Well i think we need to get ride of that.
once you start theres no turning back...
I'm sick of people always restarting when they are loosing.

DJPunjabi restarted 3 times, and on the final restart he just left.
i know tons of people that do this, it really pisses me off.
and i know for fact that this has happend to other people too.

so what do u want? out of that screenshot, the menu is helpful since ifuget a sync lost, u can always quit, or when ur game freeze and ur opponent left....
what i am trying to said is that the menu is useful alot of times!
maybe u should stop playing tag mode and stay in 1v1 no tag...

Yes I agree. It has happened to me a couple of times. One of them he went back to the host screen and then kicked me from the game because I was winning. :angryfire:

They should still have the menu button, just not make it so it goes back to the creating screen. It should be made so the host forfeits the game. Thats what happens when the person who joined does it.

it doesn't matter.
it could be 1on1 and he could just restart the game if he's loosing. all he has to press is menu and it takes the fighters back to his host. then he can just press start again and go back to the game.

a good idea would be if the person taks u back, u stay there and go to count down screen. OR when u press menu a message goes to ur opponent asking wether u wanan go back or not. ifupress no, u go to the count down screen. and the other players goes back....good idea eh? lol

um i don't think you get it Resident. when the person that hosts the game press MENU it takes you back to the host.
theres no count down screen. :(

i think hes saying thats the way it should be, not the way it is right now.

lets said i hosted, and u join. i started with a 1v1 tag.
i am losing so i press menu, and i wait 30 seconds and me and u go back. before 30 second pass a messgae should of pop asking u ifuwish to go back. ifupress no, u go to the count down screen. ifupress yes, then u go back with him. thats my idea.. :)

the simplest way is if you press menu, trying to restart you just lose...straight out.

actually..that isn't a bad idea about removing the MENU button..and resident as for not being able to get out of the game with there is a sync lost...you can always hit the F5 key to reload the game...sure it takes about 5-10 sec longer but it's worth it

Who knows, theres proly a reason Tmy has the button going back the the create screen when the host clicks it.

hopefully theres not, maybe its just one of those things he missed or something. :)

ok, since nferno666 never answered the topic int he first place, let me clear things up !

1 - it has been discussed like 100 times if not more !
2 - the menu button is vital
3 - ****s exists, deal with them !
4 - sore losers exists, deal with them !

that's how TMyApp always answered this exact kind of topic !
hell you might as well want him to lock the X button of the window itself ! really, if a sore loser doesn'T want to lose a match, serisously he takes the wrong path, cause leaving the game by that menu button gives him an automatique lost ! so relly, i don't know what you all are bragging about.

the menu button is there cause TMyApp has always told this...

yeah but removing the MENU while fighting would stop the cheaps in a why of not quiting during a fight...he can remove setup a console command that only works after a round is over or during the countdown screen...most ppl don't use commands...i'm sure if he did that then it would decrease the chances of those ppl abusing the menu button to get out of a fight cause there getting whooped or when you click on the menu button it would ask the other player if he agree about ending the game like in the yahoo games...and the player can denie the leave to main menu during a fight

lol, i said that about 3 times now.

I remember this 1 time..were a dude did that on me like 5-7 times cant remember his name but if i saw it id reckonise it. I was like you big gay.

Who cares?

I mean when they press the Menu button they get an automatic lost. But you know what? When they start over again, will anything change? No..If you was winning the fight before, than you'll be winning again. So why you guys complaining?

Also the menu button is helpful, because is someone IMs you, or like for instant like yesterday my mom came home and she needed help, you can just quit the game and restart, because your opponet got a bunch of free hits.

I mean you can always just leave the game, and then later on come back and kick that person's butt. So quit complaining. =/ ???

why get rid of the menu button??

why not just make it like old times, when you couldnt go back to the hosted game...menu would bring you back to the actual menu screen...

well acording to the sof c update it has been tweaked so it's harder to those ppl to do that stuff now

How is it harder?

At a point in time during a tag match, The host has the ability to restart it.. or go to the chat room...However, the player had an amount of time to do it... If he was hurt to an extent the menu bar on the top of the game disappeared and he has to finish it..
tweaking it, TMyApp shortenend the time and made the amount of damage less.. b4 the menu bar disappeared.. :biggrin:

nehow i think we should keep the "go back to hosting chat thing" becuz sumtimes stupid werid players leave the game during the character selection and i would hate having to wait 10 long agonizing seconds for the damn game to go back to the hosting room chat.
