well lately i look at the rankings and i remembered when it represented ur actual skill..now the n00bs seriously taken over it..
one of the main reasons being is that tag still has the glitch where whoever hosts can restart the game..and this obviously gets rid of the risk of them loosing their 'precious rank' SO!!.. why not remove the urge to cheat by removing wins and losses from tag games.. watch how ppl will resort to normal fight...the n00bs will find a new way to cheap their way through but eh thats a whole new issue..opinions plz. |

no points for tag games is all im suggesting..if ur going to get points it should be if you fight it alone..that goes for ppl who play 2-1 or 2-2 tag games.
1 on 1 tag fighters specially the rank n00bs do not fight and prefer to close the game as they are loosing which i find annoying as do the rest of the community an i think if you take away the reward for fighting like that then ppl may start fighting fair and even raising the average fighting standards of the sfo community as a whole..coz what we got now is seriously pathetic. |
I posted a topic like this a while back that points in tag matches shouldnt count but the no ob s will find another way to cheat. There are about 3-4 cheats and glitches they can start using.
If 1 on 1 non tag matches were the only thing to add to your record and a limit of fighting 1 ip 10 times tops and switch the scoring system back to the way it was b4. I think the top scores might have a chance at getting back to the way it was But for now let the cheaters and no ob s run wild on the top scores. Edited By Metal_Ken on 1121209739 |
I disAgree with you guys, I think they should change the menu all togather.
When you fighting and hit menu it sound say " Do you want to surronder" and if they click yes and then they lose. I like tag matcges alone and i like geting points for it, most of my stragys are in tag. |
hmm. I feel that this is a serious issue here.
I think that this topic CAN go either way...to the point where TMy just gets rid of it (which i don't see happening). But if these people continue, who knows? TMy might be tempted to do a ful-out serach for cheaters..and slap IP bans on them. i'm not sure which side i support yet, since i agree with both sides at the moment. :down: |

why we are there why not just drop the whole ranking system all together, it would solve most of the ranking problems all together if i may say so !
guys... you wanna play for ranks.... your call, but remember the ranking system isn't the only thing you should be fighting for ! fact is, just playing for fun is the best thing to do. why do people always have to have a goal in a fighting game ? i fight for the fun not for the points ! |

Besides...... the person who is rank 1, doesn't really deserve to be rank 1 because all they did was beat more people, they may be suckier than the person in rank 126..... who knows? |

we shud have a choice between ranked games and non ranked games, it shud b an option for the person dat hosts the game
