forget gief he is only actually good in sfa2 and 3 thats it in all the other games he's in he just a big lump of muscle and implementing him to this game wont suddenly change him ( zangief vs zangief matches only) but who in their right minds whould choose a character that really has no chance of landin a move let alone specials when the other guys is givin ya a rain o fireballs

ZANGIEF vs RYU (hadoken only user)
ZANGIEF use his spinning lariat and pass thru all hadokens while advancing toward his opponent !
the opponent try to jump over him but zangief jumps too and grab the char in the air bringing him down on the ground again and grabbing him again and again !

the spinning lariat is a powerfull move indeed, he can pass thru projectiles and zangief has priority over almost all the other moves while doing that special !

so, no zangief is far from being the kind of guy that has no chance of winning !
he has all his chances against the other as long as you know how to play with him !
same goes for all characters !
rogue in XMvsSF as no projectiles either... does that mean she has lots more chance of getting beaten ?
no, she has other things to counter with !

i agree, zangief is a good char when you know how to play with him...
but as i have already said... i'll saty with favorite char !

I don't think Cable can be done. Ken or Akuma would not be all that great, because Ryu is there, and it will be the same thing. GO FOR GUILE!!! Remember, this is TMy's game, so he could make it so you dont have to charge the sonic boom or somersault flash kick! GO GUILE!

yea guile sounds good..its different to a down forward projectile player and guile is my fav sf player ( next to evil ryu) :buttrock:

that's exactly what it is doing right now !

as for other PASS THRU things... well, it started, chunli and WOLVIE now has moves that do that.
even if zangief doesn't have his pass thru moves at first, he'll eventually get them not long after cause without em, he doesn't have a chance to get close !

it is part of the startegie of zangief, removing him pass thru moves is like removing the shinkuu hadoken of ryu !
so i return the question to you...
what would make TMYAPP not making em pass thru ?

Ok, back to Guile:

You can't say you want Guile and expect no charging. Thats what makes Guile what he is. You take away charging, you have another american that shoots stuff and has an anti-air move. So, if you vote Guile, expect charging.

Cable: First, he cant be implemented. Second, he's way too cheap and shows how unskilled the fighter is. Not an impressive choice.

Zangief: as i said, the lariat is a totally versatlie move. the only good offense on Gief is a hit and run tactic, but once he grabs you, you'll get a good 25% of your bar gone before you can get away. Look, just out of skill and curiousity Gief should be put in. Anyone in the top ten using Gief shows true skill and knowledge....think about it.
