That is not true. There is ALOT of theories and evidence/proof showing that Kurt Cobain's whore wife, Courtney Love, killed him.

Well the courts decided that he commited suicide and closed the case, but if you search the internet you will found out alot of stuff that will probably change your mind.

EYO: You're a moron.

asshole: There is substantial evidence that the courts decided to ignore that suggests he was murdered. Some believe it was Courtney, but I don't know. For example, Cobain's suicide note not only had a little of his handwriting, but the majority of it was written in the handwriting of two other people.

Selvin 02-07-2003 10:20 AM

Well, considering I've read this stuff in the newspapers and heard it on the radio and thought about it for a LONG time, I do believe the whore did kill him.

*cough*
Back to the Rock vs Rap thing
*cough*

yes, it is true that rapping does require skill. But it is also true that Rock requires a lot more skill.

Rap
-You mainly rap in one key
-There are only two or three instruments
-The bass plays the same friggin 4 chords the whole freak'n song

Rock
-True rock singers have an immense range(vocals). You never see a rapper like that
-The bassists actually play real/non-redundant tunes
-True guitarists play a lot more than jst power chordes and some play and sing at the same time. Wich is hard to do. I don't think I've ever seen a rapper that plays bass or turntabels or anything while rapping.
-True rock bands' songs are usually more deep . . .

Creed is a prime example of a true Rock band. Listen to their lyrics! MASTER-FREAK'N-PIECES!! The guitarist is amazing, and so is the bassist and drummer. Scott Stapp(singer) has an incredibally wide ranged voice; he doesn't limit himself to one key.

And is it just me, or is there no rap group that harmonises(sp)? Harmonizing is a true art of music, and so far, only (some) rock bands have obtained that art to it's full potential.

Oh, and one thing. Blink 182 is NOT Rock! They are punk-rock/alternative. Linkon Park is also not rock. They are pretty much Rapcore.

Again, it is true that rappers must have a wide vocabulary, but for the wrong reasons . . . kinda. They jsut use it to rhyme with other words, 'cause they can't find anything else. As rock bands use it for a more poetic and deeper sense.

razz you are wrong about 1 thing. there are a lot of rapers out there that can sing too. and no im not talkn bout ja rule cause he is a wanksta. (grrrrrrr :angryfire: )

i say that people should take the time to really listen to more rap instead of judging it all wrong.

and there is one more thing. rap has good dancers and good beats to dance to. i mean come on the crip walk is off the chain. i dont see anyone dancing to rock songs.
