Oh we have something similar called terms, 3 terms in an academic year, a 2 week holiday at the end of each term except for summer (6 for summer) and a 1 week holiday for every half of term.

oh i heard of those type of high schools that uses terms instead of semesters...i'm going to a school that is semestered
