and God WHY? dammit... It would've happened one day... but WHY NOW? I remember thinking about.. how I could once again become champion, how I could have became a winner of TOCs, Vet tournys, S.E.T. 2....take over Xmvssf chat (DX), defeating my destined rivals officially.., witness the arrival of Dan Hibiki, and.. many more.. inevitable visions. i .. dont know what i'll be doing after it is all said and done, maybe go crazy, or go crazy..
damn Marvel.. no offense to the characters, but you guys are f***ed up. I remember I used to watch X-men, Spiderman, all them old #### before I knew what Mutant meant. I collected trading cards.. everyday any dollar I had would be spent on a Marvel trading card and I still have them Today! Holographic Cable, Holograpic Carnage, daredevil, apocalypse, wolverine/lady deathstryke, pheonix, and who knows. U bitch I should throw them away, cuz.. Marvel.. you turned on me. You took away all those memories, all those hard earned memories, and u stabbed me in the kidneys. Bitch i'd bitchslap you right now if u looked like Cable.
Xmvssf online was an online site that caught my eyes. I remember, I struggled doing the supers on this site, i remembered all the bugs, problems, assholes (not referring to user). I played Tarkan, he was the ####, crazy ####, he had red sentinal and all. Lordcyris was tight, Lefty was too. Nferno came out of no where saying he used to be the ####, and he proved it. I was what you would call a wildcard.. I was liked for being honest, friendly, w/e.. and i had my fair share of being hated. I could've been in any position I chose, a top notch fighter, a forum junky, a gfx dude, pimp, wannabe, some loser, etc. etc.... you can say I have had a taste of everything.
I have to thank all of you for being there no matter if I was busy, needed to vent some fustration, needed support, or just wanted to see you guys. I thank all the people who played xmvssf just to have fun or compete, because I was once like you. I feel as if I still have some stronger words to say, but its too deep right now.. and I dont really wanna get too personal. So Marvel is the bad guy, even though TMy was the guy breaking the law? So you're saying that your selfish-@ss is in support of breaking the law just so you can play an online video site?

If you can find me where Marvel said "go screw a friikin donkey," then I'll retract my statement. The FACT of the matter is that Marvel did what was RIGHT, both morally and legally.

Your complaining about Marvel and Project X is the same thing as if a bunch of potheads complained because the cops shut down their drug dealer's operation. In both instances, Marvel/the cops would be doing the right thing, despite the opinions of the players/potheads.

You call it "stabbing the players in the heads." You make it sound as if YOU were wronged by Marvel, when in reality Marvel was getting stabbed in the head by Project X.

ok, i just came up with the best idea and tell me what you guyz think ok here it is what if tmyapp submited XvSF(online) to newgrounds.com then we could play it there!! cause newgrounds.com is a site that has ppl submit there flash g@mes that they made so ppl can play them plus marvel cant touch the g@me XvSF(online) when it is submited into newgrounds.com,what do you guyz think? and i want your idea's on this too joe cause i know your the smart one!

Uh....ok, I'll just repeat myself, going from my post in the Capcom's other opponent topic....

And why wouldn't Marvel be able to touch it if it was at Newgrounds?

First off, the XMvsSF online site requires a massive amount of web hosting space....space that Newgrounds would surely NOT provide for such a site.

Second-off, if TMy submitted XMvsSF to newgrounds, he'd be submitting ILLEGAL material to newgrounds. In which case, TMy would get sued for distributing the site, and Newgrounds would get sued for buying the site.

But still, like I first said....just because Newgrounds would be hosting XMvsSF online doesn't mean that Marvel can't shut it down...AGAIN.



However, I just lo-ove how you just abandoned our previous argument....guess I proved that Marvel IS the good guy.

i really think itz useless to keep arguing over the same thing over and over again which is what people are doing in this topic. so yeah, marvel did this but itz not the end of the world. and i agree with the people who say that sending them emails complaining and everything won't really do anything for this site and tmy. hell, maybe they delete all of them without reading. i don't think business people have the time nor patience to read every single complaint about a site that was being played using their characters illegally. and please don't think that i'm against tmy and on marvel's side or wutever. there is no "bad guy" or "good guy". each "side" has their own reason for doing what they did/doing. i kno people like this site and some feel much dislike for marvel, but think reasonably and think OUTSIDE the online world... if u want to change the site so that it doesn't interfere with marvel etc, first think of the work it could be for tmy and not to mention, probably time too, and how long it would take. think of the people who would help make/create/change it (if there are) and not of urselves. it might help u see that itz not as easy as it looks...

instead of stating the facts over and over again (which i think i just did -_-;), i want to thank u, tmy, for all ur time and effort that u've put into this site, it really has been great. but, i wouldn't say the dream has died, as many of you are saying. i'd rather say it was fulfilled. u did make a site that a lot of people enjoyed, old and young, created a community with people all over the world, and u did provide tribute to the people behind marvel characters, even if they are doing this to u. also, because of this site, u've made a lot of people friends, have clans, and even rivalry. i say u've accomplished a lot. and for that, i thank u again. and hope that the dream HASN'T ended and that it can somehow continue on.

and to the friends, rivals, high rankers, people who had just started, vets, etc. it really was great time and the site wouldn't be what it is without you all. i thank u for building and filling this community of ours.

Darkflash.....shut up with this "head stabbers" crap...because Marvel has done nothing wrong, whether or not you want to admit it.

Newgrounds has a copyright that protects ORIGINAL sites. If Newgrounds hosts and runs a site that VIOLATES an existing copyright law (like TMy and Project X has done), then Newgrounds is screwed. Therefore, if Newgrounds hosted XMvsSF, and Marvel caught wind of it, they can shut down Newgrounds just like they shut down Project X.

Just because they HAVEN'T yet doesn't mean that they CAN'T. The site itself is not illegal. However, if ANY site hosts and runs the site without Marvel's permission, THEN the site is illegal. You really want to test Marvel's capabilities? I can GUARANTEE that if Newgrounds was to host XMvsSF online, Marvel can shut them down. If Newgrounds hosts XMvsSF without Marvel's permission, they're breaking the same copyright laws that TMy broke with Project X.

i dont think that tmy will ever get cought if he submits the g@ame into newgrounds believe me and trust me about this! just check newgrounds out you will learn that XMvSF(online) can servive on newgrounds.com trust me ;)

Um...I'm telling you, if Newgrounds hosted XMvsSF, they would be breaking the same law TMy broke, and would get grilled for it. I've been to Newgrounds.....you think that just cuz there are other flash sites there, that TMy could get away with giving it to newgrounds?

yes, yes but it wouldnt only be tmyapp it im saying that he needs to get some help to make a new site lotz of it too and then the whole site will be remade and who know's it could be better cause i know some flash g@ame maker's i could send tmyapp's way! there good ones too!

y cant some of you ppl just admit that this site is dead...the only chance that we have of getting it back is if we manage to persuade marvel that it would be worth their time to make an official version of this site meaning that we would have to buy it but we would have all of the characters a lot sooner (as their programers could work a lot faster than tmy) and it would probably mean less bugs as well

i just created this account cus i heard wat happened..i cant believe it..lousy selfish business ppl and flipin marvel...#### them :angryfire: . i do know a way to keep the site up... normally in fighting sites the programmin for the character's movement and attacks are the same...so the different characters are more one character wit many different skins of mods....still wit me. now...since marvel wont let use there characters..we wont..cus we dont have a complaint from capcom do we? anywho....instead of closin the site just replace the marvel characters with more capcom characters or made up ones..and create a whole new site...this will show those marvel bastards :p
