hm.. i didnt read everything but I saw Dans post so heres my reply:

like it or not, u cant turn back time because u liked it the way it was back then. This game is still a demo of the full version and changing it to "the way it was" is just a foolish act. You suck up ur pride and adjust to it, and if you dont u might as well stop playing then just making comments. I'm not trying to sound harsh or anything but its what I think. The game is still very popular among users.. one reason I hypothesized is that it is no longer such a fierce competition to become a great fighter in the game, average players have opportunities to have a good rank/ratio/points, and therefore more popularity. Fairness... pfffts.. life was never fair and yet we still live.

all of you seems to say that the game really was better back then. really what was better ? the fact that person who lagged the most was sure to win ? the fact that button smashing back then would simply make you win ? the fact that throwing hadoken all over the place was probably the only thing that was sure to connect ?

really... what was better ? nothing i tell ya you know why i know this, because a programmer can't make his program worst by adding more features, a program always gets better by the updates unless the user voluntarily screw it up ! so really unless tmyapp really wanted to screw up his project which i doubt. this has became way better then it was 2 years ago !

so really i am still wondering as to why you guys want to get back to a stupid version that never really worked and where no skill at all were required to win !

anyway... this really should be closed, this is pointless to go on like that anymore since tmyapp already answered !
