Dont you think, considering this is one of the most played sites on the Internet, this is huge advertising for the company....either way, thank you all, truly, for your dedicated work and insight. Hours of slaving, programming, and ultimately your perseverance to please the mostly ungrateful and bitter crowd that were your "fans" has truly shown me that you all deserve to go places and achieve your dreams. Hmmf, what a turn of events. But, who knows, maybe an onslaught of complaints will backlash Marvel into allowing this site to run. I mean, usually, things have such a strange way of turning around......(we thought the dream died last time too, although i do concede this is a little worse). We'll see....what happens happens.....I'm sure some1 knows some1 who'll know what to do (but if not, thank you anyway, good luck, have fun, keep programming, maybe a spin-off, eh?). Later.

and if these don't work...just change the appearences of characters by 20%...they can't do anything to this site if you do that. It'll be completely legal ^_^

for all i know, they can't say its against their copyrights, if its not there character !

the fighting style can still be there... but if the charcater doesn't look anything like wolverine and doesn't have the name, they can't say anything !

the picture above... show what a guy could do... he transformed CYCLOPS into HAVOK (scotts younger brother)
and i know people who have completely create new ones, they did it for mugen, the hell, the fact is they create completely new chars based on already made frames !

other just created their favorite charcater based on others...
example of a site i showed back then which showed LINK from ZELDA based on the sprites of STRIDER HIRYU !

i say, if its well made, then its gonna be as good as this site !

naw though. i'm just as mad as yawl and the only way i can stop from being mad is acting like i don't care. change the characters or something. and the looks modify them and give the site a dfiferent naem like bidforpower did for the dbz quake 3 mod.

As much as HATE what Marvel did, I agree with them. I seriously thought that this site was aprt of Marvel, and now that I find out it wasn't, I undestand why they took legal action.
Marvel has a copyright or their characters, and nobody should distrubte them without Marvel's written autorization. This site extend to the point of not only distributing the characters, but making a fully playable site that was very similar to to Marvel's site, which it totally out of the question.
This site could have easily lowered Marvel's marketing becuase not many people would by a site if they can play it online, and for free.
Again, I really hate that XvsSF has to be, litteraly trashed away but we have to face the truth;hwoever, not all is lost, you could easily change the character's graphics, sounds, and special attacks, and create a whole new site free of restrictions!
