DAN doesn't suck, if your always thinking LONG RANGE BATTLES then you are clearly not an ELITE FIGHTER !
DAN as more moves that works and his GORYU REKKA does HIT HARD when it connects. his SHINKUU GADOUKEN has the same effect if all the hits connects. plus overall, he have a move that is as STRONG as the RAGING DEMON, its called OTOKO MICHI ! he also have the best moves around, actual ones that can be very usefull !

example: would be that tripple kick that can be done in mid air, lots better then the tatsu may sempu kyaku or ryu or ken or even akuma !

his gadouken is an hell of a finisher since it blows the guy away to the far end of the screen and it is also a good FAST way to block another enegy blast like the hadoken ! since it comes way faster it can be a last minute saver as well !

if you never noticed all that,m then you are simply sucking with him and are not an ELITE FIGHTER !

Dan is best up close and as for ppl who keep doing hadouken, hadouken and drill claw drill claw drill claw, and their fav optic blast optic blast optic blast. Dan would be hard to get in close to ppl to do his supers or combos.

Itz not like Dhalsim actually killed his own children. itz like basketball players wearing necklaces w/crosses on them reminding them of their parents.

They arn't his children. They're children from his villiage that died (but not specifically his own).

Sorry about the double post but I have got to say this. I think it is even worst that he is wearing someone else's children's heads. What if the parents wanted to bury the kids? They would not be able to have a proper funeral because it's missing a head.

okok....from vote for *insert char* to dhalsim's dress code...just an observation.... but most o yall aint even votin for him... + picture this, u in a fight with some n00b b. he picks dhalsim you pick whoever, all he does in the entire match is punch and kick from a distance, his body parts stretch, eliminating competition and winning the fight.

Oh thats right dhalsim is the stretchy guy...which is why i dont want him...think of all the cheap o's who would stand back and just punch and kick with his stretchy limbs then do supers...he's not worth it..

Hey dont bad mouth the guy he can also teleport(in air) plus he can hurl fireballs from his mouth and his yoga flame is nice. Making it a good move to counter maximum spider or BBX
And for another great person Warmachine him and sent or even iron-man. A team like that would be unstoppable. So vote warmachine ;)

I know his story. But does he really need to remember kids by wearing their heads around his neck. No. He could of wore some necklace with like a cross for instance to remember them or something. And it never said he was a leader just a guy who went out of his way to join the tournment to end the famine in his village in India.

yea. hes fighting for his homeland india, so he needs divine intervention of the deceased children. when ur fighting guys like ryu & dan u need all the otherworldly power u can get.

as for his moves being cheap, when his arm's out like that (his fierce punch), just leap over it and use a downward attack, like akuma's (who will soon be out, much to my dismay and the Dan Fan Club) angled fireball or, in a mirror match, dhalsim's yoga spear.

I voted for Sakura, last time I voted for Ken. But, I think Sakura would be mega-cool! She has pretty sweet moves :buttrock:

Sakura is my second-best character. So what if all her moves are just parodies of Ryu's? She's actually pretty fast and has that charge attack super.

screw Gambit ken and Sakura. What are your chances of hiting someone with kens Shinryuken (True dragon fist). Plus Sakura hadoukens go diagonal up in the air, not straight ahead. Plus she lacks in range the best move on her is the dragon punch 7 hit move. That is more of a rush in speed attack. And most of her supers u have to be close or your enemy will have to be in the air.

I think Dhalsim should b in next because:

1)his teleport
2)the yoga fire/ flame (sure, its slow but the flame is effective against chun-li and other melee characters)
3)he's not as cheap as half the other characters (go ahead and argue his stretchy fists cause ##### to win easily, iron man has the cheap punches and a crappy launcher)
4)Whoever thought of putting an anorexic Indian Monk in a fighting game deserves the Nobel Peace Prize! ;)

I would vote for Cable or Megaman but they not on list... Vote for Iceman if you want a character thats truely unique. If you want another super strong character vote for Akuma because this guy is like better than Evil Ryu and he can do the Raging Demon and his energy wave blast is way cooler than Evil Ryus. Gambit gets old once you used him alot. I find Gambit boring to play with because he is so cheap. Throwning those card things all time and his super isnt that cool I mean the Royal Flush is cool but it gets old.

I think were all gonna be surprised by the winning character...Take last year, I thought I was the only one who voted spiderman...but then he had 200 some votes.
