When I was first here, there was tons of that. But the community wasn't as developed and there weren't many members at all.

I wish that people wouldn't say thier vets and act like the no so much, when they don't know anything at all. I am not saying anyone posting here but in the chat the attitudes are really idiotic. The people that I remember from 01 were me,nferno, nosoul, professor, tmyapp, leftyfb, tarkan, lordcyris. The game was really enjoyable back then, there werent as many trash talkers and mostly everyone got along. now people come here and cyber and be stupid....its really wierd :plain:

where have you taken that 7year limit SBYRD5 ?
because by what i see in my encyclopedia and dictionnary...
there is no set time limit for veterans ! all that is needed for you to be one, is of you to have been there living it when the thing hapenned !

thus when the game first started ! thus everyone in 2001 are veterans to me !

you say you teached us, but yet all i saw was a definition based on your saying and not having any facts while i take mine from the book itself !

I woulds thinking of a Soldier veterean.

And I recall hearing it takes a period of serving the army 7 years(Which is the minimum long term for service) to be considered a VET.

,but maybe I miss heard if so my apoligzes....

But this I do recall hearing clearly....

SBYRD5: your definition is good for one thing... the ARMY made a rule ofor themselves and it is true that for them a veteran is having served his country for like 7 years and more !

but think about it... they have no choice of that, otherwise that wall of theirs would be like 10 times bigger then it is now !

Tj5 ur right there wasnt alot of this that goes on now...people werent getting free wins in the beggining of 2002 but i dont know about that not fighting part lol what about u and movil...lol..well then maybe ur just referring to 2001...well watever but look man its impossible to not fight on this game because theres always someone that has to set u off...but yes i do agree that the game was much better back then...Oh and also back then TMyApp didnt need to try and find a way to make it so u cant quit the game and get someone stuck in it or ifur playing tag they take it back to the host and kick u..or shut it down..maybe even restart..he shouldnt have to even do that man so many people have tried to leave and get me stuck lately but it doesnt work iplay a quick game win the first round then they leave..lol..

Well, I'm not an OG. Heck, I'm far from it. And the only OGs that have recently posted are TMy and MaDPoWer.

i started playing this game with leftyfb and bone in April 2001, 5 months before it was ever released :biggrin:

oh.. those were the days... there was no collion detection on ryu what so ever, no menu system, no way to host or join a game... and the lag was about 50 times worse than... err.. i'll stop now...
