I can't hold it back anymore.
This is wrong. DWX was just going to be the new move for Wolvie, but time and efforts got away from TMyApp. He then went to other things for the community. Then, he wanted to keep your hopes up, and started working on the Bone-Claw Wolvie. That's what that pictures on the front page is from. The TRUTH: It's over. The way it will "change everything for good", is that he is using a "story", and the new Wolvie, to SHUT DOWN SFO. What could be a bigger event, then to build up your hope and then shut down the project? Sorry, I thought you all should know. I'm his brother so I know what he is up too. |
oh lord he's shutting down the project...i knew it he has no other continuation since this is his last chapter he had to...i knew it :(

whew... lots of reading and catching up and all that after only a few hours.
men you guys should go outside more. unless you were at school ! anyway... Wolverine never had anything added to him except for the adamtnium who COVERed his bones... magneto cannot get his bones out but he sure can get the adamentium out which he did... the result is wolverine badly injured because of the massive amount of adamentium coming out at once. but wolverine recovers and they discover that the adamentium only covered bones that were already there. thus the 3 claws wolverine had was actually 3 more bones in his forearms which were there to enforce his skeleton other bones are there for him, he got another mutant thing, he got bones where normally any humans do not have... like the 3 claws in his forearms ! solidsnake76, i don't read the comics, but i am a fan of them and i know the series which up to a point followed the comics. for those who want to know... i'll try to find pictures of wolverine and his pals silver fox and lady death strike. just in case some of you wants to know who he loved in his life ! |

some more facts: 1: the final release date for any major event (especially this one) will be posted in the loading screen of the game, and the forum at least 30+ days before it happens (which means, you'll know 30 days ahead of time of when exactly DWX will be released) 2: DWX will not be the last event in SFO, the "story mode" screen can be expanded in the future to include an infinite number of "parts/episodes/chapters" that tell the story of SFO 3: TMyApp is not "rich" off the VIP donations... as mentioned dozens of times before, the donations never outweigh the actual costs of running a huge game such as SFO 4: SFO will never be "shut down" (even if it costs TMyApp god knows how much money out of his own pocket) ... UNLESS people stop supporting/playing it... (ie: if there is only 1-3 people playing the game, i will probably pull the plug... right now, we get 5000+ hits each day, so, we're not there YET... or anytime soon) 5: can we just ignore the ramblings of warmor and continue with the actual topic of the thread ?? (ie: the never-ending guessing of what DWX will be, that TMyApp finds every so amusing) :biggrin: |
Ok with the download I can play offline but... I cant log in.... i'm guessing we can only log into are user names online because are names is not built into the game but is hosted on another site right..... so if sfo go down are player names ... and status... is gone?...... :dontgetit: why not have them built in so people can use there names offline? also is there a way to trannsfer this onto a cd so that I can play this on my ps2? my friend did this with an online game before but not sure if we can do it with this one..

Warmor: Come on dude... you should knowbetter than to post crap like that here. Even if you're not serious about it, if you act like that around people who don't know what the event may hold, you could really mess them up. And to make matters worse, by calling something TMy's promised to be the "best thing to happen to sfo" a sham, you're insulting him and this community.
Other peeps: I've spoken with TMy several times before about why he keeps sfo running, and every time he replies that he does it for the people who play it. For him, just knowing that he's making thousands of people happy by providing a free game is enough for him to continue putting up his own money and time into a project. If that were me, I probably would have given up long ago and tried to do something else with that negative cash flow. But for him, as long as you keep playing, he'll keep providing. |
In the unlikely event of the game going down, ya'all should have the downloadable version of the game saved on ur PC. That's why it's available 24/7 for ya'all to download. Thus, even if the main page of the game goes down, you can still load up the downloadable version and play the game.
And if yours truely, Nferno666 and TMyApp have all the necessary chat servers working, then you should STILL be able to playy with other players online for as long and as much as you want :biggrin: And finally, the whole emulators thing you just mentioned ain't working... not now, not ever. Reason ?? Cause emulators aren't coded like this game. This game is strictly software and shockwave enhanced. Emulators are made WAY differently... and I think there's a rule that forbids the discussion of such ... right ?? ... Then again, I AM the law.. or something *cough* Anyway, here's my take on DWX, I believe... *sigh* ... I belive NOTHING; nothing I tell ya! I can't really put my hand on what it's going be.
