I may be a skeptic, but i am not a fool; i shall not judge something I have no hard evidence on....only problem is, I somehow think that trying this stuff in a college dorm would look REALLY wierd....

Also, to that person who said that the human body produces as much energy as a nuclear plant would in 100 years...BULL!!! Ever heard of the 2000 calorie diet? lets use that as our standard. One dietary calorie is actually a kilocalorie, and is enough energy to raise one milligram of water 1 million degrees celsius. however, that is only enough to raise one kilogram of water 1 degree celsius. that means on a 2000 calorie diet, the human body would produce in one day enough energy to raise 1 kilogram of water 2000 degrees celsius. Thats a lot, but no where near what a nuclear powerplant can do. I've been in a lake that was used to cool parts of a nuclear powerplant, (no radiation gets into the water), and the water was like 30 degrees above a normal lake tempreature. And we're talking tens of thousands of kilos of water=1 kilo of water raised 300,000 degrees celsius (assuming the lake is ONLY 10,000 kilos). That beats the hell out of what the human body does.

actually... the body can generate about a 12 volt of electricity if we combine all the nerves the human body has !

that's mainly why 110v cannot be tolerated while batery electrocution is ok !

as for energy... it all depends on which kind of energy your talking about ! we are talking about KI, the energy that makes us live and do things, the energy that animates us !

not the heat waves the body is generating...
a left to right movement of your arm near a magnet will be generating energy... that's physical energy, it is true that the human body has a lot of that. but non-physical energy is something else !

actually, the human body can survive 1000 volts of electricity and barely feel it..(this is on the ski, while dry). It takes 100,000 volts to cause death...
However, when the skin is wet, the human body cannot survive even 1000 volts. (course if youre talking about sticking a battery in your mouth, im sure you would feel a 9 volt battery... :biggrin:)

anyways, when you say ki, are you talking about a simple projection of physical energy from the body? theoretically, i do not see why someone could not power a lightbulb just by projecting electricity from their body onto the terminals...

or are you talking about something to do with souls? If so, it may exist, but will probably never be accepted as factual by science... however, I do believe in souls, so Im not sure how this would turn out.

Viper I suggest you and anyone else intrested in energy to buy or checkout this book from the library. It's called "Unexplained Phenomena" , a rough guide special. It has a section dedicated to people that could control their energy, such as telekinetics, electricity, and heat. You should also look on google or yahoo about a lady named Anandamayi Ma. She is also mentioned in this book. She was able to produce massive amounts of heat from her hands. The story in the book is that one of her students asked her to show her energy to him, so they went to a shaded area and she put her hands on his head. The student felt such a tremendous heat he begged her to stop. When she stopped their were burnt marks on the floor. It has some other cool stuff in the book. I really recommend reading this :D .

SOUL, which makes the persons personnality and actions toward an event !
BODY, which is necessary to move around in this plane of existence !

both emits energy of their own. i really thing that if we can control our PHYSICAL energy. then wouldn't we be able to control the other part of ourselves ?

so basically, i do think our soul can do lots more then what we are bound do to !

Sorry I haven't replied in a while :D . I belive exactly what Karma just said, I belive the soul is us and the body allows us to roam the earth. Just to inform everyone I have gotten better at my cousins technique and have been able to wake up if someone walks into my bubble. It's a really weird feeling you get when someone walks into it. It's almost like your feeling their presence. Another weird thing I have discovered is I recently went to a funeral and as soon as I arrived there I got the same feeling of a presence. Don't know what it means exactly. Maybe it's like the Sixth Sense, "I can see dead people" j/k :D . Anywaz did anyone check out that book I told you about ???

Hey Xicer! Sorry I haven't replied in a while just been sort of busy. Anways you wanted to know what I have accomplished so far. I have been able to produce a energy ball around 3 feet, produce intense heat, and I have almost mastered my cousins technique. I haven't been able to practice alot though because I've been busy, but I'll definatly make time :D . Also why do you want to end this topic?

well... at first, i wouldn't have told anyone about how i did the energy ball, i just thought people wouldn't believe me or anything.

Karma I know you can do it again :D . Keep tryin man everyone is capable of doing it. Just relax, focus, and free your mind. You were able to do it at one point in your life. What's stoppin you now? Look deep inside yourself and imagine how you were able to do it in your earlier years. I strongly belive everyone is capable of doing this. We just need to belive. When you were a kid you were able to do it because you belived that it was possible. Now you might be doubting yourself. I know you can do it just relax and keep on tryin. This goes for everyone :D
