Maybe for submitting scores.. but restricting who you are ALLOWED to fight based on your ranking? [sarcasm]Yeah right[/sarcasm]. Just what are you going to do when you enter a chat room and there isn't anyone ranked above you and you're not in the top fifty?
I think the best solution is to have a multi ladder system where you can view ranks according to score, win loss ratio, and total wins. Something to keep in mind though. When this 1 player mode that TMyApp has talked about hits, it might be a good idea to implement a high scores because then NO ONE could bitch about how their lag's making them lose, or that the people with the best high scores are newbie killers.
