seriously, then why adding different chars in a game if those that really are always taken are the top tiers ? if its so then just dop a simple game that will include TOP TIERS charcaters ! can't you understand that ? its called probablities and mankind have proven lots of time that probablities aren't the best way of winning ! its all just a matter of chance ! you could be the master of the universe and still get beaten by a child who is only able tpo mash at the buttons, cause of what ? a simple mistake you did ! we all do mistakes and no one and i will say it in big bold letter. <span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'>NO ONE IS THE BEST</span> we will always find someone better then us and we will always make mistake during a fight, which means those TIERS will never be exacts as they are based on probablilities that change all the times ! now stop that bullpoop of tiers cause all they induce is confusion. for my part i think TarkanX started that bullpoop just to get magneto in ! as for spiderman being a jerk ? well, now chunli as a rival ! as for sent not being able to kill ryu users in close range fights ! then fight me TarkanX you'll see how i can kick butt in close range with sent. know why, because i am a good fighter in close range ! |

If tiers didn't exist, the games would be more fun, I agree. But tiers do exist. It's like saying in MvC2, Cable gets owned by Ryu when the 2 people are the best users in the game with those characters. I always wanted Magneto. Magneto most likely wouldn't be top tier in this game(maybe hyper grav will be good), but I always wanted Magneto. |
tiers is not something that was started by tarkan x to get magneto in. it is a fact that is recognized most of the people who regularly participate in fighting game tournaments.
no body said that anyone was the best. some of us are just saying that tiers are a factor in a match between two people, who make the same amount of mistakes, who have the same skill level. the only reason fighting games have a variety of characters with different tiers cause that's what makes up a fighting game. having all the characters at the same tier takes out the fun of a fighting game(it'd be like saying that there should be only one religion and culture in the world). when game developers made fighting games, they made it so that some characters are stronger but slower and some that are faster but weaker. some are strong and fast. those characters who have a balance of everything are considered top tier and those that are least balanced are considered low tier. there's more of a variety in fighting potential of characters in fighting games so that it is more fun to play. |

THE GAME IS BALANCED ! if someone #is actually faster but have less strengh then a certain character, is he becoming WEAKER then the other ? no, because he is still faster ! all characters have strengh and weaknesses... but to some of you, some character (the one you consider top tiers) are just plain old perfect and have no weaknesses ! that's what i based myself on... just a question... have you ever seen a HERES THE CHARACTER CLASSED BY TIERS on CAPCOM web site ? or anywhere else that capcom could have said it ? no, becuase TIERS aren't made by capcom, it has been made by some jerks who wanted to lose time in TRYING to figure out what charcater was better by doing probablities ! yeah tiers exist, but are they really that true ? my answer, no ! because they are based on probabilities and again, those are constantly changing. so why would cable be better if all he can do is being a CHEAP ASS with his almighty VIPER CANON ? admit it... can you really compare CLOSE RANGE FIGHTERS to LONG RANGE ONE ? go ahead, compare this to see... RYU vs CABLE RYU owns cable in close range, but cable owns ryu in long range ! does that mean cable is better ? no, its just that he has a different style and it all depe4nds on the player who by the way makes mistake, so he cannot be called the best as doing a major mistake isn't out of the question ! |
