Undernet1: If you can afford to run your own site and everything, then all you have to do is send TMyapp 5 or more dollars through paypal, and you'll become a VIP. Then, you'll be a VIP for life - unless you specifically ask to be "Un" VIPed (but who would want to). You'll receive the black spiderman as well as many other cool perks. Well like SSJKarma said twice, there are very few Vip's and personally I don't care about rank, so it's not like I'm using Spidey to get up there.
Yet the people who play this game like almost everday such as Nferno666 and Dark-Link are in the Top 5 and use a non-vip Spider-Man so it's not like there's a need to tone down the Vip's special moves.

let me get this straight !

two thing makes maximum spider an almost none dangerous move !
1 - it got a very big bug in it ! (do it, then push the forward key before spidey get to the edge of the screen. spidey just cancel his super)
2 - so easy to block ! (you just need to see spiderman coming)

with this known...
believe it or not, i'm better with spiderman then i was with sentinel. now i can kick butt without even trying ! but i think its just that i know him well ! anyway... keep him like he is and stop complaining !

Well, I have an idea that would make Maximum spider alot easier to handle, it wouldn't drastically change it.

Maximum spider is pretty easy to block. How bout making maximum spiders blocked damage a tiny "sliver" of damage. That way, if/when you block it (which is pretty damn easy), it's very little damage.

As for when the damage connects, leave it as it is. If you can't block it (which is pretty easy), then you should receive that damage.

well, while some of you said that he's screwing the game up, i think that the other characters need to be improved, rather than weakening spidey. Why? well, because with lag, many of your attacks dont go through. But with spidey, those that DO go through do some damage. Before, if you were playing a high lag game, it could go on forever, and even when your moves went through, it didnt do very much. Spidey handles lag really well.

oh, and about maximum spider being easy to block?
if youre in the middle of the screen when he does it, you have to rapidly change the direction you're holding to block--to block you hold away from the enemy, but when he's going from one side to the other...
Also, it has ENORMOUS reach. I was doing chunli's lightning kick, and maximum spider was doen. It went straight through my lightning kick without stopping. You pretty much need a projectile to stop maximum spider


About VIPs being able to exploit black spidey--it isnt gonna happen. Noone wants to pay $15 to become a VIP, and risk losing it because of "misconduct" or whatever; and if they paid the money in the first place, then you have no place in bitching at them--theyre helping to fund the game. Plus, most of the immature ones who WOULD exploit spidey dont seem to have a checking account or the money to spend.

well i haven't use him once for fighting but have in practice(the correct way..not cheapness) well tmy since spiderman has a new move that only vip can use why not let ryu have his *shin Shouryu-ken* for vip's i'm sure there would be more than just 15 after that :laughlong:
