steventhebol, Dan actually doesn't have any of Ken or Ryu's attacks anymore. He had some of the same standard attacks as those two in SFA, but by the time SFA2 came around Dan had rather unique attacks. The only attacks he shares with those two anymore are the ducking kicks. He does have a move making fun of Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu, though... the Otoko Michi is like Akuma's attack in many ways, and takes away 75% of a full bar if it connects like Akuma's does. The difference is that Dan has one hit left afterwards and is dizzy, and the opponent (if still alive) gets up before he can recover.

Moves often confused with Ryu or Ken's:
Gadoken (Not hadoken)
Dankuu Kyakuu (Not Tatsunamisenpuukyakuu)
Koryuken (Not Shoryuken)

Also, addressing all of this... badmouthing. I'm not talking about you Smile04, but some others have gotten the wrong idea from your post. Dan is absolutely, positively, not gay. Not in personality or in fighting style. Don't even call him gay because you can't win with him; he is probably one of the hardest fighters to learn to use properly, but once you do, he becomes a force to be reckoned with.

Seeing as I was the first 'Dan Fan' on this forum, I feel compelled to be in Dan's defence. First off, I'm pretty #### sure Dan's not gay, and for you to say that because his costume is pink is complete and utter stupidity in your part. I don't recall a single instance in which Dan acted like a fag, not once. And for the people who think he's gay because he's hard to use and win with, go play some other game. I think Tetris, or Elmo's Letter Adventure would suit you better.

Your website is for 'brave' fighters only? #### man, that's a load of bullshit! Dan's surely the bravest of them all! He knows he's probably not the best, or strongest fighter out there, but still, he's in the tournament. I like Dan because he is interesting, his story is unlike all the others, and he has unlimited taunts. Also, he is challenge to use and win with, and requires a higher level of skill to use than, say, Ryu or Akuma. Let's face it, Akuma is for little 9 year old children who just started playing the game, he requires almost no skill to use effectively.

Welp, that's my two cents on this matter. Anyways, it's not like we're forcing you to like Dan, just don't try and convince us that he's gay. Weak? Perhaps. Homosexual? Certainly not.

Thanks for the defence, BrainDed7726... but Akuma does take a while to actually master. Dan takes much longer, though. I am still a student in his Saikyo ways.
