The major thing that makes X-Men better then Street Fighters is that X-Men are mutants..their special ability is just like having a third eye.
It's just "there" and always "active"...and they use their abilities with the same effort and mental exertion that you would use to curl your fingers, in order to make a fist.

An excelent example of this is Rogue...she simply touch's another living creature with her bare flesh...and it's lights out for the both of them.

If she touched Ryu...she would absorb and retain all his abilities and mental thoughts and memories for a brief time period...thus making her Ryu's exact equal..but better...because she retain's all her normal mutant strengths as well.
