I play for the fun of it, for the thrill of the fight! My user name might be Dan Hibiki, but I'm more like Ryu with my view on fighting. I just want a challenge, and to become better and enjoy myself! I find it hard to do that now... too many people are point scrooges, hoarding points and focusing only on their rank, rather than genuine enjoyment. I enter chat rooms to a barrage of challenges and insults, and when I beat people I get so much crap that I can hardly stand it anymore.

I don't care about my rank, and it never really mattered to me in the first place. I've been ranked 57th before... so what? My record is a losing record because I like a challenge a bit too much... so what? Rank, win-loss records, reputation... they are all immaterial. What matters is the fight itself, and being able to have fun just because you are fighting a skilled opponent.

So many people have lost sight of these ideals. It is my hope that those people find them again.

the reason i did fight you was because you were the best at that time ! (you probably still is) but when i fight im not in for the rank (proof is im still 2500 and above)

i do fight for fun
i do think a fighting game is more than that
i do think im the char when i play
i do make my own story when playing
i do think that game could be better
i do know that tmyapp does his best

the worst is, ryu has been here since first day !
and he became too powerfull to be beaten that easily
im real good with chun-li and still i lose too easily then i choose ryu and kick the person out ! that just cannot be true !

the person is a great fighter a give you loses and then you take im on with ryu and you win easily ?

not much i can do though... Cyclops is .. well.. how can i put this ... "behind"... i'm aiming for mid May now (maybe even the end of May)

no one really has any idea of what it took to get this buggy version of the 4 player mode out (but it took MORE than "a lot" of ass busting around the clock)....

despite the n00bs and people leaving left and right (and i say this very month) people play the game now more than ever (we're now up to 30,000 hits per week, and well over 100k users... not that anyone cares)

anyway... bugs will die (one by one)... new chars will be added (one by one.. but slower)... as for the n00bs ??? well... i guess the best thing u can do is just stick with your friends... meet up on the empty chat servers, host u'r own games/chat-only-games ... and, perhaps, we need an option that will allow you NOT to submit your scores...

there are also a LOT of other GOOD ideas on my "list" .. but... i wont' get around to even thinking about them until few weeks/months from now (which may seem like a LOT to you guys, but to me, after working on this "project" for over a year, it really is noffin'... weeks/months... same crap... i dont even notice/keep-track-of them anymore) :biggrin:

if u gotta go... go, if u want to stay... stay... in either case, i have no idea what will happen next (just like all of u)... things might get better, and they might get worse...
