Tacq watched as the "new" Zegar disapeared into nothing. There was a long silent pause.
Pack you bags, we leave now.
Mizuki,"Tacq, you seem afuly calm about all of this. Do you know something we don't?"

Mizuki," Tacq! I think it DOES matter! Our lives are at risk here! We-"

Zegar," You DO know something..."

Ugh... we are not in danger. This Zegar that came from the furute cam to kill the Zegar we know now.
Zegar," So, you're saying I'M the only one in danger?!"
No! Just listen! Okay, that Zegar came from the future to kill this Zegar... However, he cannot be successful.
Mizuki," Why not?"
He can't succeed because if there is not Zegar in the past, there is none in the future...
Zegar,' Yes, that's why he came to the past!"
Let me finish! Well, If he would've succeeded in killing you, there would be no Zegar to come back here and try to kill you.
Zegar and Mizuki gave Tacq a puzzled look.

The group started walking down the path until Tacq abruptly stopped.

Tudeki: "Way ahead of you."

Jopia: "Yeah!"

Tacq: "How did you know we were leaving?"

Tudeki: "It's one of my gifts, I sensed powerful fighters getting ready for battle."

Zegar: "Interesting, any other "gifts" we should know about?"

Tudeki: "Hmm none worth mentioning at the moment."

Zegar: "Who's the boy?"

Jopia: "I'm Jopia, I'm traveling with Tudeki."

Tacq: "Let's get going."

Tudeki: "Wait, I sensed where the Evil Man was going."

Zegar: "Evil Man??"

Tacq: "He's talking about Duraga."

Zegar: "Oh..."

Tudeki: "He traveled North towards Lake Kasp"

Tacq: "Great, let's get going"

Tudeki: "One more thing, he has many more minions now, I sense thousands..."

Tudeki: "Well, they seem like soldiers, but not with elite skills."

Zegar: "Shouldn't be too hard."

Tacq: "Can you sense people's fighting spirit, is that how you found them, Tudeki?"

Tudeki: "Yes."

Tacq: "I knew someone who could pinpoint fighters spirit levels, can you give exact levels?"

Tudeki: "Not exact, but close enough, why?"

Tacq: "Well, what is the fighting spirit of Duraga, and what about his legion?"

Tudeki: "It will take a minute, they are far away..."

Tacq: "No Problem."

Tudeki goes into a meditation.

Tudeki: "Duraga's Spirit level is around 85, his minions are around 10"

Tudeki: "Here are your estimated Fighting Spirits. Zegar's is 68, Tacq, your's is 54, Jopia's is 17, Mizuki's is 59, mine is 62, but with my Fathers Mystical Sword, it's 76."

Tacq: "What are our chances?"

Tudeki: "Let's find out!"

Zegar: "Yeah!"

Mizuki: "Let's go!!"

As Jopia moved closer with his katana ready to strike, the rustling in the bushes grew more violent. Unsure of what was in there, Jopia finally flung himself at the bush swinging his katana in deadly swipes. As he disappeared in the bush, everyone heard some swishing of the katana. But, as soon as he came in, he came running out, looking bewildered and frightened. He ran straight into Tudeki, and immediately started babbling.

Jopia: "Tudeki!....Monster...bushes...evil... more...one-"
Tudeki: "Spit it out!"
Jopia: *pointing at the bushes* "RUN!"
Mizuki: "Why?"

Suddenly, a whole bunch of monsters burst out of the bushes, and looked around menacingly. They looked like their bodies were turned inside out, and they had toungues sticking out of their mouths. They moved their heads, looking around, and then eventually pointed their heads at Jopia. They hissed, and one stepped closer. That one had a large cut, and it was moving slowly towards Jopia, as if unsure of what to do. Everyone (in Mizuki's party, including Jopia) stepped backwards slowly, knowing all too well they were out-numbered. They stepped slowly backwards into the forest and watched the monsters. Finally, one of them screamed (kinda) and jumped at Jopia, who (in reflex) held out his katana which cut into the beasts body. It fell on the ground, flailed a bit, and finally got up. It made a noise that seemed to call the rest of the monsters towards the party. Suddenly realizing what was happening, Mizuki and the rest of the group ran away in different directions, seperating as they went deeper into the forest. As they seperated, however, the monsters monsters seperated as well and followed each person/group to finish what they started. Unknowingly, everyone had just entered their worst battle yet....

*The Ninja leaps from tree to tree traveling in the style of the "Crouching Tiger"(Ok that was a J/K).His faithfull canine was close behind traveling at the forest floor below him.As he is traveling his mind is in a mist of questions....*

Kai/Shadow=Thinking="Unreal I offered my services to that group of warriors,but there leader figure of the group rejected me...."

*It seems that interceptor had ran into a bit of trouble with a Mt.Nibel forest imp monster,but the canine quickly defeats the creature with ease,an continues to follow his master*

Kai/Shadow=Thinking="A true ninja of the shakoluo arts shouldn't be distracted so easily...hmmm what is that sound in the distance.I better drop to the forest floor to understand my surroundings."

*Kai/Shadow falls to the forest floor.With Interceptor he traces some foot steps,and dabre into an open area*

Kai/Shadow=Yes, it was a group judging from these foot prints.Hmm...6 in all.

*Interceptor catches a scent in his nose,an won't let it go for some reason.The canine runs in the direction of two seperate set of footprints going the same way*

Kai/Shadow=Man, whoever Interceptor smells must still be alive.I've never seen him so excited for a hunt.Maybe I can get some zenny of the person who is traveling through by offering them my sevices....HAAAAAA :laughlong: .

*Kai/Shadow vanishes into the direction of Interceptor*

*fight the monsters and run away again !*

ZEGAR:"maybe it's the best chance i have ! gotta fight till the end !"
*zegar slashes the first monster who came towards him, then seeing how hard their skin is, he follow it with a neck cutting motion and see the first head roll, bu the fight isn't over yet !*
ZEGAR:"one down, ten more to go !"
*as he start fighting the second one in front of him, the rest are surounding him up and zegar will have to fight on both sides of the trees.*
ZEGAR:"if i get surrounded i'm done for, their tactic is good, they don't even let me a chance to run away that long !"
*seeing how is back is starting to get full he unleased his blade and yell*
ZEGAR:"PROTECT YOUR MASTER !"
*and the blade start attacking on his own holding down the force behind his master*
*zegar was beating monsters BARE HANDED, their skin was so hard that every single punch or kick didn't even phase em !*
ZEGAR:"damn, i got surrounded and there is no chance to escape. i'm done for !"
echoed voice:"why am i still alive if you're gonna die here !"
ZEGAR:"i know that voice and it gets on my nerve, but he's right. i'm not gonna die here and surely not BY YOU CREEPS !"
*with a second breath, zegar continues to hit as hard as he can reducing the distance from the monsters !*
ZEGAR:"now that's my chance ! FIRE SWIRLING BLADE !"
*and his blade started to glow as FIRE engulfed it. then it was swirling in circles putting every single thing on fire. four monsters were caught in it and died not long after from burning up, but even the forest got on fire ! but zegar didn't care !*
ZEGAR:"five more to go !"
*zegar runned like hell between two monsters who bashed at each other, and turn down on a spinning 360 motion then slashed them with blade of his !*
*two head rolled, but the other 3 had already got to him and zegar had no other choice but to take the hits head on*
ZEGAR:"that's gonna hurt !"
*the monsters bull charged at him, he flew about 10 metters high and fall about 50 metter back. landing on his back head first, was already bad, but finishing the course by hitting that tree was too much for him, he passed out !*

Jopia: "Oh no, what happened to the others..."

Tudeki: "Haha, they'll be fine."

Jopia stops in his tracks.

Jopia: "You scared me, but thank goodness i found you."

Tudeki: "No, I found you... You think I'd leave you alone?"

Tudeki: "I wouldn't run from a fight like this either, I had to make sure you were ok."

Jopia: "Well, thanks for finding me, where are the others?"

Tudeki: "I think they all scattered after you ran, and I chased after you..."

Jopia: "Oh no, what will happen to them?"

Tudeki: "I've run into a monster like this before, these monsters aren't too strong, but you can only kill them a certain way, so since they split up, they might be easily overwhelmed... :( "

Jopia: "How do we kill them?"

Tudeki: "If we attack them with our blades, it will only slow them down... we need to set them on fire, it makes their organs explode."

Jopia: "Yuck!"

Tudeki: "Well, it's the only chance we have, and I sense some coming now. Hurry up, build a big fire, I'll do the rest."

Tacq ran a way down a forest path. He stopped to see if he could hear the footsteps of a comrad. The sound of a few thumping feet made Tacq turn his attention behind him.
Maybe that's Mizuki or Zegar!
Tacq turnned behind him and immidiately appeared to where the footsteps were coming from.
Ah, crap.
Tacq ran toward a group of the monsters. He motioned to run back away, but a monster was right behind him.
Okay fine... you wanna play rough? Come and get it!
Three of the monsters jumped at Tacq, but grabbed thin air. Tacq already hald his hands around the head of the most distant monster. He attempted to snap it's neck, but the skin was too strong. Tacq got fed up. He openned the monsters mouth and put his hand over it. Tacq's eyes turned white and light began to emit from the monsters body. Rays of light shot out of it's chest and it soon exploded. The force of the explosion shot Tacq far back and he landed on one of the monsters in the group that was chasing him. Tacq got to his feet and ran up a tree, exposing his back to the monsters. One of the creatures lept at Tacq, but Tacq swung to the other side of the tree and the monster cracked it's neck on the hard bark. Tacq laughed atop the tree, but suddenly the tree began to shake. The demons at the bottum were lifting it off of the ground. Tacq jumed off and brought out his throwing knives. Running around to random spots, Tacq threw his kives at the monsters (much like when the monster came to attack him when Mizuki was uncouncious), but to his misfortune, his blades had little effect and he was just upsetting the creatures more. Tacq looked around for a resource that could help him.
Tacq shouted, GUYS! I COULD USE SOME HELP HERE!
But his voice only echoed.
Okay... you li'l punk-az-biches are go'n down!
Tacq lifted his hands and his fists illuminated with an unatural Light. He charged at the monsters and started pummeling one down. Thanks to his power, his punches had effect. The monster was one it's back, bleeding through the mouth, and tacq held up one of his daggers(not one of his knives). Since his fists were glowing with power, his blade did aswell. Tacq thrusted the blade down, through the heart of the monster and it exploded with a flash. There were seven more monsters for tacq to take care of. He sighed and got back up. But as soon as he stood to his feet, he was bashed in the head by one of the creatures.

*ZEGAR'S blade was fighting the remaining monsters by her own, it lounged at the monster while in fire !*
ZEGAR:"COME BACK !"
*the blade came back in his hand*
ZEGAR:"that's you, following orders till the end !"
*zegar remembered asking the blade to defend him while fighting a sides the trees before getting hit*
ZEGAR:"2 monsters left ! i cannot run with the wounds i have. damn it. i can't fight like that, but i have no choice !"
*the monsters bull charged at him again, but this time zegar saw them coming !*
ZEGAR:"you fools !"
*zegar jumped on the tree trunks and jumped over the monsters. then rushed at them with his blade in fornt of him. planting it in the right monster heart, killing it rudely but his blade got struck in the monster and zegar had to take the other one bare handed !*

Tudeki pulls out his Uncles bow, and prepares to strike.

Tudeki: "Are you ready Jopia? Pull out your sword, prepare for battle!"

Jopia: "Yes, Sir!"

Tudeki fires the arrow into the head of one of the monsters, and prepares another arrow. Jopia is afraid, and is just staring at Tudeki.

Tudeki: *Fires arrow into another monster* "You have to fight Jopia, do not be afraid!" *Pulls out Katana*

Jopia: "There's too many of them!"

Tudeki: *Slashes a monster across the chest, and knocks it into the fire* "There's one less, I won't let you get hurt Jopia, fight!"

Jopia: *Leaps onto a monsters shoulders, and repeatedly slashes him him in the chest*

Tudeki: *Grabs a monster, and jabs his katana all the way through from behind, and throws it into the flames* "Into the fire Jopia, get it into the fire!"

Jopia: *Pushes off the monsters back, knocking it into the fire*

Tudeki: "There you go, but there are many more!" *Slashes one in the chest, and spins around back for another strike, and kicks the monster into the flame*

Jopia: *Runs at a monster stabbing it in the chest*

Monster: *Punches Jopia in the face, knocking him down* "Grrrr"

Tudeki: *Grabs Jopia's sword, and kicks the monster in the head, sending him flying into the fire* "Ok, enough practice for you today, Jopia."

Tudeki stands quiet for a few moments, his sword starts giving off bright blue flames. Tudeki runs at the group of monsters slashing with lightning quick attacks, until all of them are on the ground in pieces.

Tudeki: "Get up Jopia, help me throw the pieces in the fire, just incase."

Jopia: "Sorry I wasn't good help Tudeki."

Tudeki: "It's ok Jopia, I've spent my whole life training, you are still young... and you have alot of potential."

Jopia: "You really think so?"

Tudeki: "Why else would I wan't you to travel with me?"

Jopia: "Good point."

Tudeki: "Enough talk, we must go find the others, lets hurry up and get rid of these"

Corona=(Thinking=Why did you stop running if we stop we....what is that oh no...we're trapped...the other Licers have caughten up with us...)

*Mizuki is silent staring at the leader of the creatures*

Mizuki=Listen I think if we can defeat the leader they will live us alone maybe.....
Corona=(ThinkingThose things can't be beaten you saw what Jodia did didn't you?)*Corona nods*

*Mizuki stared at the leader of the Lickers with a desire in her eyes it was like there was a flame inside her burning to fight*

*The minion seemed to had asked there leader if he was going to capture them for himself,and the leader had signaled the ok with an unique splashing sound*

Mizuki=Corona I want you to run as far away from here as you can.

*Corona started to run to get help,but the creatures boxed Corona in*

*A dog jumps over a few Lickers,and begins to guard Corona*

*The dog began to glow and for some odd reason Corona seemed to give off an aura as well*

*The dog began to circle the minions and his speed grew,soon he was just an glowing image moving as smooth as the wind*

Corona=(Thinking=I will use this special fire based attack which turns into a bomb of kai energy that erupts into a fire based explosion)

*Corona threw the fire bomb in a distance close to the creatures,but away from her.Some off them followed the item because they where curious*

*The dog then unleashed his attack it totally finished off about 2/3 of the minions*

Corona=(Thinking=The bomb should blow soon call back your partner.)
Kai/Shadolow=Interceptor guard her,and don't leave her side tell after this battle.
Interceptor=....rolf...ARHHHHggg

*The dog began to return to Corona,but an explosion partly hit the canine,and finished off the rest of the minions.It was probaly the bomb that Corona threw earlier.Now Interceptor is injured,and Kai/Shadolow and Mizuki are about to square off with there leader will they survive to see another day or will Corona be the key factor.Maybe the next post will know.*

The force of the blow to Tacq's head hurled him a ways back, he almost hit a large boulder. He quickly got up and shook himself off. But by the time he focused on the monsters before him, one was rushing in his direction already. Quickly Tacq crouched down and the creature tripped over him. The monster's head landed straight onto a broken piece of wood that was sticking straight up. The branch pierced it's skull and Tacq threw a ball of light at it so it vanished.
Hmm, only 5 left.
Tacq charged at the group of demons with a dagger in each hand. With a furry of slashes, Tacq was slowly waisting away one of the monsters. He jabbed the illuminate dagger into it's heart and it disintegrated. Four left. Tacq looked back to see that the group of monsters weren't there. He looked all around him and lost his guard. After that, the four demons shot up from the ground around Tacq and began to beat him down. Tacw was caught off-guard, so he didn't know how to defend himself. Soon, a thoguht sprung into his mind. He withdrew the power from his hands and blades and just layed there. He spread his body wide apart while the demons were still pounding him with fists. He looked lifeless, so the demons ceaced to attack, instead they just stood around him, examining him. For a while he layed and they stood until he once shot open his eyes. The demons raised their arms in attack, but before they could touch Tacq, they had vanished.
Who would have though that teleportation could be used for offensive too... hm.

Tacq: "Yes, I can."

Tudeki: "In that direction, about a 30 minutes walk away."

Tacq: "Here goes!"

Mizuki and Corona continued running through the forest together as fast as they could go. The monsters were dashing after them, ready to kill with the slightest sight of their prey. Mizuki would normally fight back against monsters such as these as they are easy to beat (she knows the weakness) but in such large numbers, none could survive except the monsters. Knowing this, Mizuki and Corona continued running through the forest with Mizuki shooting plasma energy at random places behind her. A few wails of pain confirmed she hit some of the monsters, yet only when she heard a loud screech was she happy with her aim. She continued running and firing blasts backwards only hitting the monsters every 20 shots or so. While she ran, she looked for someplace to shelter herself from the attack, and finally found a spot that was good enough. She turned suddenly, and with Corona on her tail (with the monsters trailing behind), Mizuki went into a large clearing in the forest. She suddenly stopped, turned around, and stared at the monsters which were a bit away. Grasping her pendant, she looked into her soul for the best spell. Finding it, she said it out loud...

With that, the forest around her came and surrounded her, forming a wonderful shield of wood. Felling a bit safer, Mizuki sat down exasperated and relieved. She looked around at her surroundings. She found some Gypsy Herbs, and she went to pick them. Having picked about 12 or so, she crushed them, placed each powdered remains into small glass bottles, and added a strange liquid from another glass bottle. The mixture of the liquid and the powder made a reaction inside the bottle. It fizzed, made noises, and finally changed it's color as it soon went to a complete liquid state. The liquid was now purple, and having about 12 of these, Mizuki seemed to feel comfortable and safer. Getting up she went back to the wall, and looked at it. She knew it couldd hold the monsters back, but she was wondering about the others. What happened to them? Thoughts came tumbling one after the other, as Mizuki looked at the wall with deep worry. She turned away from the wall, and Corona came next to her. She heard sniffing, and looked down to see Corona sniffing her hand. Mizuki carressed Corona's head gently, and he closed his eyes lazily.

Suddenly, Mizuki heard a large roar. She turned around and saw something going through her barrier of trees. She screamed, and began backing away. Suddenly, from the side of the barrier, Zegar appeared out of nowhere, and was turning from the wall, to Mizuki, and to the wall again. Getting into a proper sword fighting stance, Zegar began talking.

Zegar: "Glad to see your safe! Get ready! This thing is VERY BIG!"
Mizuki: "....o..ok!"

Mizuki immediately ran directly behind Zegar. She looked at Corona, who was sitting and staring at the wall. Suddenly, his head twitched to the left, and you could see Tacq, Tudeki, and Jopia standing there. They looked safe, except for Tacq who looked exceptionally tired. Mizuki took out one of the bottles, tossed it at Tacq, and it broke in midair. The liquid inside splashed all over Tacq, and some got in his eye. Feeling a bit of pain from the liquid in his eye, he got up (somehow feeling better) and walked to Mizuki. He gave her a look of deep annoyance, and was about to tell her off for putting liquid in his eye, when he noticed the monster. Suddenly thinking about something, he yelled:

Tacq: "SHADOW!!!"

The only sounds heard now were the sounds coming from the large monster (which was half way through the barrier), and the wind. Suddenly, Shadow appeared running through the ofrest towards them. Shadow eyed the party with some dismay, and then at the wall, and then finally Corona. At this, Corona growled a little bit, which made Mizuki carress him. With the growling having been stopped, Shadow looked at Tacq, and then they began whispering to each other. During their whispering conversation, (about 30 seconds later) the barrier finally came back, and they all saw the monster. It was BIG...Bigger than the castle, bigger than the bigger castle.. no, bigger than the castle that's bigger than the biggest big and bigger! (Just an easter egg...)It had a large pinkish body that was covered with a red substance. As it moved it's neck, it's mouth was shown as a large hole in it's head, and the teeth that could be seen shined with a deep red coloring. You could see the deadly points on those teeth as they gnashed together. The monster finally spotted them and ran...

[ooc]T'is the last monster... although, don't forget that the ones following Mizuki are still alive...[/ooc]
