Karma, do you watch T.V. all day?
Dave Chappelle is awesome. His stand-up routines are even better. |
Why would i listen TV all day long ?
come on its sunny outside, so for it ! as for south park, well yeah lessons can be learned, but since its for an audience which is aged higher then 18 due to mature language and obsene things happening in there i wonder who the hell would want to learn those lessons we most of all adults have already learned on ourselves ! as i said, the concept and original idea was good, but not the way they did it ! |
Just to respond to your comment you made about me not being liked very much, that's not true--not that I care what you think. But, to prove a point, you all immediately thought I was some #### because I wasn't obeying all the rules. Fact of the matter is, you love me. ;)

matt groening truly has it going ! asshole, if you still learn lessons like the ones they teach in south park, then you clearly missed your younger years ! lessons they teached in south park... - Be yourself no one else ! - Do it yourself if you want it rightfuly done ! - Friends are good, popularity is nothing ! see, if you didn't learned those when you were young, and i mean young, then clearly you have been bullpooped till this day, cause those are the first thing we learn in life ! south park might make you learn lessons, but i agree with that other guy, many will simply tell you "which lessons ?" they don't like it cause there lessons in it, they like it cause its brutal, vulgar, talk about sexe and is funny at some point ! its the same for MMPR... they don'T look at it for its childish ways, we look at it and like it for the combat in them, we like seeing others kicking butt, i'm sure even you like that ! at least that's why i still look at it. my favorite show up to now are the ones with a good story and if not a good story then a lot of kivking butt. good examples would be... TMNT, INUYASHA, HEAVY GEAR, SPIDERMAN, |
[quote:post_uid0="SSJKarma"]lessons they teached in south park...
- Be yourself no one else ! - Do it yourself if you want it rightfuly done ! - Friends are good, popularity is nothing ![/quote] Oh yeah, i'm sure that's ALL they teach on tha show. What about tha ePisode where they taught about tha world wars? I'm sure that show taught anybody NOTHING, right Karma? And you say you watch other shows because of good sotrylines right? Yeah.. and South Park is really stuPid huh, and has no Points whatsoever, like you said that you liked in shows. Oh and South Park also has no flaws. And as for graPhics,.. read and Pay attention "Don't judge a book by it's cover". So you're saying that you threw away all of your odl video gaems that you had that were 2D? Because they have 3D animation and stuff now? Why tha fk you still playing SF? You know what Karma, dissin a show and lookin down on it just becasue you don't THINK it's good, is really immature. Why don't you get our of that circle? |
I think it is fair to assume that Karma has yet to step on the playing field of any sport. Period. Yes, that even includes curling.
I can't believe you are having a debate about; 1. How dope cartoons are and how they have--and apparently currently are--affected your life. 2. [...] Then bash other cartoons that other people enjoy. I would have thought you would be open to accepting all thoughts pertaining to cartoons. However, the moment someon's belief process doesn't coincide with yours, you bash them. Essentially saying, "No, I'm right and you are wrong." Now, I'm not going to sit here and say that "South Park" is the best form of television for our youths, and current young adults, of today's society, but I believe that if you are going to be open about how you still waste numerous hours a day watching pointless childish cartoons, you should at least be open to accept some outside perspectives. Come on now......why are we debating over cartoons?
No you don't learn lessons from cartoons........... that's bullpoop |
technique, before saying such things as to judge how i am here at home, tell yourself that i like playing sports way better then being at home alone which i am a lot of times cause my friends just don'T come over and when i try to come over their house they always are gone.
asshole, i never said i disliked the animation because he used old tactics of animations, i like drawn shows betterly then any 3D engined shows ! but fact is... the animation technique he used is just so easy to use that its a shame for him to have used it ! its like doing a game with a 30 year old engine and hoping the game would still be loved for what it is. sorry it was fun back then, we're not anymore back then, we're today so live it like it is today ! that's such a simple thing, knowing that living in the old days isn't the right way to be. i like SFO not for his 2D side... but rather because its a good game in itself. a game never been seen, a game with new features months, a game with characters i like even today, a game that uses an engine still used today and that nobody ever pushed to its limit. and if you think i like this to the point of not seeing its flaws.... then tell yourself that you don't know me too much. SOUTH PARK has flaws, just like any other things created by humans ! if you don't see any flaws in anything you look at, then its you who is biased by your emotions, not me ! fact is, i like looking at it... because i think its fun, because its about all it gives me... world wars is bad... tell me since when are your parents tells you that it is ? truly, i know wars are bad because i been raised in a world where people had enough of them, so i learned it when i was very young. and i'm sure everyone learned that about the same age as i did ! tell me something asshole, how can a show teach anything to people when its considered for a mature audiences ? matturity means you already learned those childish lessons ! so explain me why this show is good for that ? its almost like saying the TELETUBBIES are teaching our childs how to live ! |

While other cartoons teach you ways of life and how to make your friends liek you (Stitch show) and have fake stories we shouldn't worry about. South Park does teach you lessons, but they teach you in ways that make you laugh, and yet get tot ha Point. I know tha PEOPLE who made it Probably don't care what we learn or dont, they're just makin money, but they are STILL doing it for us, because we get attracted to attention like that. |
