get a life, you'll see more i bet you

[quote:post_uid0="KidKrazypoop"]Let me tell you all why I PERSONALLY put dark in the vet tourney.
He is an active member of the XMvsSF community. Fought often, and is a great fighter. Made a name for himself, and made contributions. Veteran: I'm going to assume your one of the members hiding behind another user name because you are to afraid to say what you are now under your real name, but that's ok. No matter who you are......who do you think you are? Running around judging Shinjuko and my opinion on who's a vet??? I don't see you hosting a major tourney. Being a vet isn't just about posting in the fourm, it's about being in the game alot more and he was in the game alot. That's what matters most. Luna:wow wow wow, hold the phone there. You WERE in the vet tourney. I had to fight ppl off left and right to get you in, and your dropped out. Then you decided " no wait, I think I want to fight now. Doesn't work like that. Your dropped out, you stay out. So don't even say, "i wasnt even allowed to fight in it" when you were. lastly, about this whole Vet2002 discussion, it seems most of you are crying :( because you weren't let in. well cry me a damn river...
im everything that you said about masta, and even more, and sure i said that i was going to drop out, but thats because i was pretty pissed. then i thought about it, but then you said i wasnt considered a vet i dont give a #### if im a vet. vet or not, it was still ####, i mean masta is my bro, but he isnt a vet. and you shouldnt of made that exception for him, look at the name for christ's sake. oh and im not crying, i just knew that a tourney run by a queer would be fliped up. |
Yeah i knew from the begging that that tournament was going to be a complete mess since almost every tourney never takes off as u planned is going too, people being rejected and people getting mad, i admit that i was a little disipointed when Shinjuko send the rejected email to me, but then i thought to my self i also i have better things to do like go to work take care of my son and other things :) thats why i will never host a tourney it takes too much time i dont got and it never goes like it suppose too. Thats why if ur ever going to do a Vet tourney consider that it will never be done, since there is hardly any vets and people are going to be mad about it and thing will heat up in this forum just like it is now, so please people just come in and post what the topic says, just post and leave, post and leave its that easy, post and leave, post and leave :D
|
2000warrior: is it me or you got 5 pages of offtopic vet tourney 2002 flaming ? :D
anyway, this is a GAME not your entire life ! stop saying things because someone made mistake ! worst, stop talking like you had never made mistakes in your life cause i really don't think you are god ! you know why i know you are not above him nor equall to him ? cause even him made mistakes ! (he created us after all) i sure hope you all FLAMING |\|oob will understand what exactly is, having responsability in this whole #### load of making a tournament ! start making one before flaming cause you'll all know what it is... i never started any, do you see me complaining that i got beaten in the first round of the game ? no i just go with the flow and i don't give a damn thought about it ! you all talk about respect but the only thing you all do is getting more retarded by FLAMING about some mistake made by person who does make LOTS more things then you for this community. think twice or better third times before you post. cause here, now, i am very annoyed by seeing all your post that most of you do ! they aren't even usefull ! if you want to go and flame on someone, just go get mIRC and get on some channels and flame like you want just to see how long you can stay ! you are all lucky that all mods keep you unban cause on some other forum you would have already been banned for good. you have a right here to say your opinion and your thought, but there is something called judgement and some others called it REASON. try and use some before talking cause all you do is making you looks like a CRY BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry KKS, but this is so frustrating to see all those little retarded CRY BABY that i had to put an awfull lots of those "!" |
Even thought i know this topic has gone off topic alot :p this is probably a very good topic, even this topic has brought up old stuff and the vet debate, this is turning into a very good contraversy(how ever u spell that) so im enjoining everyones opinion of this subject, people are doing more than a one sentence post :)

Adressing every single person who's posted in here since from the 7th page (every single dam one of 'em in alphabetical order too).
Dan Hibiki: Why don't you share your insite on how hard it is to host a tournament. I know the vet tourney wasn't anything (in time) compared to the Clan Wars you hosted... but I'd have to say it's been a hail-storm for the bitchen'.. :biggin: darkmagicx: If you think it's so stupid, feel MORE then welcome to leave. As I recall, this is a forum meant to discuss this game and what happens in it. I get frustrated @ the number of people bitching about this too... but, well... that's what you sign up for when you host a tournament or a free online game. People start to think it's their priviledge or even "right" to certain things like being included in some tournament that only half the guys even showed up to fight in anyways. Luna: I pitty the poor foo who thinks everyone's a fag, 'cause life's gonna get pretty bad once you hit the streets of a big city... KidKrazySit: I've been seeing this for a while, and quite frankly, I have to disagree with your comment about a vet being someone who plays in the game and plays often... While I have said before, that I'd more readily judge a vet by their posts on the forum, that's because you can see how they "conduct" themselves in there, wheras looking in the archived topscores... won't tell you anything. Someone can fight for a year and be absolutly dominate at this game, and I still wouldn't care if they had an "attitude problem." On the same level, someone can post/cram all they want to for years on end, and if they're flaming/hating/spamming constantly, I'll never view them as a vet either. I attempt to incorporate gameplay, forum posts, and "attitude" into my whole vet/classification thing, but when it comes down to it... attitude rules above all. Token is a prime example. Always posting, and always playing the game. His one major flaw... he posted/chatted flame on a 48 hr basis. And for that, I'd never view him as a vet. Mickey Mouse: Oh, now that's a puzzling question. Just why did I put people on my "search" list that were older @ the forum then myself? Come to think of it, EVERYONE I was looking for joined Dec-before. And here's why: Because they actually were/are vets. Yes... everyone just keeps bitching about Dark Masta being in the tournament. You know what? He already hosted a tournament before the vet tourney and did a dam good job with it too. He's starting up a new "clan fansite" with KidKrazypoop (Battle Grounds) and working his ass off for... nothing! What makes people so dense that they'll judge someone soully by their joining date? Dark Masta is a better vet then almost anyone you've ever known. And yes.. you ARE bitching. You're bitching about who we put in, and are stuck in that crown that feels we ought to justify our actions within hosting our OWN tournament. Paradise-X: Glad someone's trying to keep this thing on topic. I guess it just takes the simple mind of the "new guy" to get the "old guys" to quit their squabling and remember that they're just arguing about things long since past... SSJDan: Oh, hell no. A "monthly vet tourney" will never (ever) happen. Just look @ all the complaints about the "yearly" vet tourney from a month ago... No one would have the will to host something as heavily bitched at as that. SSJKarma: Lol... well one thing's for certain. I havn't been talking like I don't make mistakes because I am/have been admitting them since day 1. supercalo: One of the best perceptions yet in this thread. Why is it that everyone who respects what TMyApp is doing is consequently respected on this forum? Now, if I could only tie this in to get people to have respect for what we're doing (people who host tournaments). Afterall, they're both free services, taken out of the free time of our own lives to give people reasonable competition, a reason to fight and train, and above all... a filter for all the bitching, to distract them from the game's problems... Troy88: Well, I said I'd adress EVERYBODY, so here's yours... Get sum ####### skills! (sorry, just ran out of ideas/patience) tupac2westsider: Yes... this topic's far beyond getting back on track (due to one discontent indidual.. hrumph!! :bigirn ). But I guess there's only one thing to do now... keep debating until I it turns to all-out flame then.. lock it.. vetran: Read the adress to "mickey mouse." Virus: Oh.. cmon. We all know you want to continue posting... so, what's the harm? This topic's way past the point of getting back on its original theme, so what's the use? I'm inviting you to bitch about the vet tournament.. As for what you said to KidKrazyshat... What the hell are you thinking? I mean honestly... Just how many times have we blamed others for out mistakes? Not a single dam time. How many times do you and others have to keep bitching on and on about how "such and such shouldn't have been picked because they're not a vet." Which you fail to point out is an oppion, which is why it's just so ####### impossible to make a tournament where no one bitches about being "rejected" and must continue to bitch about who else should have been rejected to justify their own rejection. And just why do you think we're ALWAYS defending our actions?? Because you and these other people never quit bitching about it! If you're so confident you'll win in a "debate about the faults of the tournament" then, by all means, create that topic yourself... and lose. You know why you'll lose? Because we've already won. We've (mostly I've since more people are content to blame me) appologized many, MANY times about how it went, and already admitted that the registration was inefficient. You're just yelling at two old stumps that already gave into that fact long ago. wrestlemania: Did you even look at when some of those guys joined? I can only guess who you're refering to are the Senshuk guys, because I made sure NO ONE in the tournament besides Dark Masta and Luna joined after Feb. Ah well... I give up. I'm just glad you didn't bother registering, or else we'd have double the bitchin.. :biggin: |
Well this Vet tourney is a good example for people that are going to host a tourney, its not an easy job and its not going to please everyone all the time, i know i wasnt pleased but still we could always learn from the mistakes of other tourneys thats why i think is a good idea that this should go down in history ;)
we should make more debates about this but not debates about world problems or epidimicts thats just going to drive people way, but problems that happen in the game we could have a very good discution about it like right now ;) even tho its making tentions between people its still good to know whats going on with the game and with people thoughts ;) |
2000warrior..thats the only mistake u made...
u shouldn't be putting dark in the tourney .because he aint a vet and its not fair with other ppl.lol they will start bitching abt it :p wel yes i wanted to join too but when i saw some nOObs i changed my mind .. btw only 7 ppl showed up ... |
[quote:post_uid0="2000warrior"]Troy88: Well, I said I'd adress EVERYBODY, so here's yours... Get sum ####### skills! (sorry, just ran out of ideas/patience)
Hmm...I didn't quite understand that, so here's a useless spam post for ya, complete with a smiley :colgate: |
Shinjuko: well, we are all entitled to our opinions.
wrestlemania:stfu. "only 7 ppl showed" pfft.... Note: notice the only ppl bitching about the vet tourney are the ppl that weren't let in  |
SHUT THE #### UP THE TOURNY IS IN THE ####### PAST WHO GIVES A #### ANYMORE!?! :angryfire:
|
[quote:post_uid0="KidKrazyShit"]Shinjuko: well, we are all entitled to our opinions.
wrestlemania:stfu. "only 7 ppl showed" pfft.... Note: notice the only ppl bitching about the vet tourney are the ppl that weren't let in
heh, well since u hosted it, it wasnt really a real Vet tourney, |
and just dubya tee eff is that suppose to mean?
|
[quote:post_uid0="KidKrazyShit"]Shinjuko: well, we are all entitled to our opinions.
wrestlemania:stfu. "only 7 ppl showed" pfft.... Note: notice the only ppl bitching about the vet tourney are the ppl that weren't let in
yeah because....shinjuko and you joined after me..so it doesn't really matter ... anyway past is tthe past..... vets? |
tupac2westsider: There will never be a tournament that pleases everybody. Even that "wonderful" TOC I that everyone has fond memories of still had its share of people that got angry at Zing79 for stupid reasons.
darkmagicx+wrestlemania: Just warning you NOT to let this debate turn into a who/what qualifies someone to be a "vet" debate. If you want to debate that... create your own topic. |
there is only one thing that can calm down the people about the vet tourney !
Quote:
kidkrazysh|t = goes with the playability of the game and players wrestlemania = who cares about his definition ! :D SSJKarma = has no real definition ! see ? we all have our own definition and the other think the other his wrong so he FLAME ! but there is one thing you can't deny... there is one and only one definition that you can really rely on... Quote:
and i must say that i never really considered myself a vet ! but it seems people had know me has one ! it's something you can't get by yourself. it's something other people decide for you ! the definition from the dictionnary that had been put in my quotes are the only definition i always used. you all say that the vet tourney was bad from the start cause people who was |\|oob were accpeted in it, have you even tryed to see what people YOU would have ACCEPTED ? i know that i wouldn't have been accepted cause most of you think i'm so bad in the game ! but i have been UNDER THE FLAG and trying to help more then most of you ! conclusion: this is not meant to flame people but the to enlighten them on what they seemed to had missed by posting in about the vet tourney ! hope you enjoyed ! |
Random comment: I'm a vet! I go under the definition of an amount of time being a part of the community while being useful and non-stupid. I joined in November, so only two more months until I've been on for a year!
... don't look at that date under my user name. I joined under a second user name (as anybody around back then would know) in November. Going with the conversation: let's not make this a flame war everybody. This is about the best posters of all time, and not about this quarrel about the vet tourney. I hate not having moderator powers. I feel so helpless... |

SSJKarma: "THERE IS NO PRECISE DEFINITION OF A VET"
That being the ONLY truth posted in here about sums up why everyone has been/will continue to bitch about it... I knew they would from the start, but I still insisted on being a part of hosting the dam thing, and made registration done email-only to lessen the bitching. Just imagine what kinda hell would of broken loss if registration had been on the forum... Ah well, I think this debate thingy is pretty much over since it's just become a "who/what qualifies someone to be vet" (which is btw, their entire basis for arguement). [quote:post_uid0="Dan Hibiki"]let's not make this a flame war everybody. This is about the best posters of all time, and not about this quarrel about the vet tourney.
So.. no more about this vet tourney. It's over/dead/done. Anyone who wants to bitch about it, create your own bitching thread. Dan Hibiki: Lol.. I here ya... At least you've still got your 5 votes... I wonder what kinda turnout we'd get if there was a way to make the poll have 30 or so names on it... |
no offence but vet2002* tourney just messed up....
the best tourney of all time =TOC1 & TOC3....(we had vets there only);) :D lets just forget about this vet tourney and let this topic die.... |
Then stop posting in it if you want it to die.
To summarize my position: my favorite person to debate with is TarkanX. I feel that if I don't go egotistical and vote myself that he is the best poster. |
This is why I like 2000warrior. He keeps a level head. ^-^
|
roll: you say that but i'm pretty sure you don't even think it ! :D
anyway, i voted for myself just to be sure there would be no jealous about who would be the best poster around here. but seriously, i want to know who voted for me and why they did so ? you know, i have been myself for 21 year and i have never really been respected at the level i am respected in here ! yep, i definitely want to know why you all 4 voted for me ! |
I KNOW he keeps a level-head. Also, thanks for putting me in your top-ten list, even if I was called childish. But, then again, who isn't?! ^.^

We all lose our patience at one time or another. I am probably one of the most peaceful and inoffensive people on this forum, but I have a nasty side if people bring it out.
|
exactly, Dan. I have seen yours once though, and I have yet to see 2000warrior's.
|
[quote:post_uid0="Dan Hibiki"]We all lose our patience at one time or another. I am probably one of the most peaceful and inoffensive people on this forum, but I have a nasty side if people bring it out.
hmm never woulda thunk it Can I have a sneak peek? (preferably not tested on me) |
Lol.. well I can't remember the last time I lost my temper because it's almost impossible to insult me (something Luna may never discover), but whenever people piss me off I just store it all away... But whenever all that anger does surface... it'll be hell for whoever the victom is..
For those that let their anger build... often let it out in large heats of explosions. I personally think Zing79 was/is the best poster I'll ever witness here. Why?? Well, the guy can win an agruement. I've never seen him lose one, and he posts with such command of the situation with still being able to make funny remarks here and there... Quass was/is the only guy who could match him (a shame they were always on the same side though) The ONLY guy I think that could have/can match them is Dan Hibiki. Although I never saw you post with as much "command and wit," you still come dam close with that logic of yours. Everyone else can battle it out for 4th and below.. |
i vote dan hibiki

Being intelligent and wanting/having to have the last word are two different things. Don't get me wrong, there is some intelligence involved when you set out to prove someone wrong; however, I think it's thick-headedness more than anything that determines the victor in a debate.
You see, some people absolutely refuse to lose an argument. Sometimes it makes no difference how well you presented yourself, how many good points you made, or how relevant your argument was, the opposing party will completely disregard everything you said, simply because they had to win. To them, their argument wasn't an opinion, but the word. I used to be like that; I grew up. A prime example of this, is Zing79's policy of 'having the last word,' then rudely locking the topic, preventing any further discussion. I've seen him do that on more than one occasion. If those are the debating skills you talked about, I'm not impressed. The whole point of a debate is to try to convince the other side your point of view. But what good is debate when you don't keep an open mind going into it? How can you expect the other side to see your point of view, when you're too thick-headed to try to see where they are coming from? Everyone loses sight of this when they argue, especially when it comes to serious topics, such as the existence of God, abortion, politics, and racism. Everyone knows where they stand going into it, and nobody budges an inch. What's the point? I'll never be good at debate for the simple fact that I make a sincere effort to understand where the other person is coming from. If they present themselves well, in a legitamite and non-badgering manner, I've been known to cave in on more than one occasion. I'll admit that there are certain things that I am very opinionated on, and won't sway very easily, but that doesn't mean that I don't take into consideration everything that the other person is saying. My goal is to resolve an argument, and not necessarily win it. People that are good at debate won't cave in under any circumstances. They will, in a very subtle manner of course, try to make you look like you don't know what you are talking about. And if you do manage to contradict them on even the most minor point, they'll try to twist your words around. Winning debates, on the more serious level anyways, is all about how ruthless and relentless you are. Never give up, and never admit that you are wrong. I can usually tell where an argument is headed very quickly. One of three things will happen when you argue with me. You might present yourself very well, and change my mind. I might present myself well, and change your mind. Or, the third possibility, I might present myself well, and my opponent will keep the argument going, out of pure emotion, and not logic. If this happens, I usually step out of the argument. In fact, unless it is something that I feel very strongly about, I usually step out of the argument very quickly anyways. I usually come and say my piece, and leave it at that. Arguing endlessly is pointless, and you usually just end up going in circles. I think it's better to 'plant the seed of possibility' in someone's mind, and just let them ponder it. Maybe they'll come around, maybe they won't. But you won't be any better off by badgering them to death, for the sake of looking good in front of everyone else, just to have the last word. |
no one is intelligent here.....LOl ppl over 18 year old are just wasting thier times ...playing games.blah blah blah :D
there are alot of other things to do in life..damnit instead of wasting time |
i too was raised as a "STUBORN" person...
everytime i argu with someone, i listen to them, but in the end i don't even changed my mind and keep saying that they are wrong. but there is one thing i had, it is called a comunication class, where the prof said there was more than one truth in life ! *demonstration* i am behind the victim who get killed and i am on the other side of the street. troy88 is on the same side as the victims and he is on her side. what both of us saw was the truth but neither of us will have the same version. that's what i try to pull out now, making a comment or two that can bring the person to think i and him could only be partly right ! but i never really argued with someone cause i always have trouble with arguments ! they seem not to like me so i never really get argument to argue with ! 2000warrior: i must say that your votes aren't even sure of being first ! reason: - they still have no votes (they don't even post) - they are mods and prefer locked the topic when they get wrong (like troy88 said, i saw zing79 locked topic just because he had his idea and didn't want them to change) exception of DanHibiki who i agree is a great person, i think none of your choice can be first ! reason: I HAVE THE FIRST PLACE ! :D anyway, i prefer being egocentric than let someone else get the first place ! |
*blink*
i have one thing to say.. "the good posters only posts in topics they are interested in, so what about the rest?" bah! i cant say it right lol...... |
