[quote:post_uid0="Silence"]i like PC the most :)
yeah thats strange! how come PC is not on the polls? thats pretty good also :D |
There is no end to this!
Ps2 One game.......Tekken 5 is like blowing everthing! -X-box is going to so die when Ps3 hits the shelf -Gamecube is DEAD! I don't care if the resident evil franchise is there, the console is aimed towards little kids! :) -PC- well..... *cough* i don't own one *cough*...... yet. So no comment  But even though I don't prefer the xbox, halo 2 would kill killzone anyday Si, perro estomago muchachas!! |
Killzone, I have to admit isn't as good as Halo. But I still think the only good exclusive games on Xbox are Halo and Ninja Gaiden. The PC isn't there because its not a games console, its a computer.
|
A Gamesystem is only as good as its best game
i have an xbox so i obivousely pick xbox but id feel equally at home playing a playstation or gamecube :blues: |
I wouldn't give the Gamecube the cold hand, its still a pretty damn good system. I think the controller is great excluding the position of the D-Pad. Anyway, most of you guys probably don't like it because it has "kiddy" games and has no online play. Well, I still have fun playing Mario and Smash Bros. And I seldomly go online on PS2 to listen to self-righteous geeks proclaim how good they are at playing a game 24/7.
But since I own a PS2 and am most familiar with it, that would be my choice. |

havent u played fable? or project gotham? uve surely heard about Counter Strike?? & not to mention half-life 2 will be coming for x-box soon also. the list goes on & on |
Yeah , I still don't rate them as high as ninja gaiden or halo cos they're not that good. I'll take final fantasy and Gran Turismo over prject gotham and fable. Plus I ain't really a fan of fps's so it comes down to my opinion really.
Anyway, PS2's exclusive list is a lot better than Xbox's for sure. |
xbox is the better system by far and the stats prove it....microsoft has come up quite a bit against sony and the live is making it so much better than anything sony has dished out thus far...its not always about an extensive library when you can have repeat gameplay from one bad ass game...
ps3 vs xbox 2 will be worth the wait |

hope so  |

ps3 vs xbox 2 will be worth the wait
Oh ok, so you'd rather buy say 5 games and play them until Xbox 2? Well no matter how good the specs of a system i'd never buy a console and do that. An extensive games library is always what counts in my opinion. PS3 vs Xbox2 looks promising though thats for sure. |
yeah thats gonna be 1 hell of a showdown. either way we r the ones who'll win (coz we get to choose & buy the better 1 of course :D )
|
Until ps3 and xbox 2 do come out, the only thing we can do is make opinions on the subject matter.
-I think that whoever has the killer game lineup will hold true to claiming the title of "The Best system." -I heard that they were supposed to unveil the Ps3 in Japan sometime this month Green vipers right. Either way us consumers are going to win regardless. :) |
The PlayStation 3's CPU will be a chip codenamed "Cell", and the system will use chip-to-chip interface technology and memory technology from Rambus.
Cell is a dual-core, 64-bit RISC IBM POWER derivative. Early versions of the chip will be 90-nm, with a change to a 65-nm process, if cost and performance allow. Abstracts from presentations to be presented at ISSCC show the Cell processor running at 4.6 GHz. In December 2004, Nvidia announced that they have been in a multi-year agreement with SCEI to develop the PlayStation 3's GPU, a custom variant of their next-generation graphics processor. Playstation 3 will utilize the 512 megabit version (64 Megabyte per RAM chip) of XDR DRAM, with Rambus' interface technology. Up to four can be used per Cell chip, for a maximum RAM figure of 256 Megabytes per Cell Chip. and the designs, so damn sexy: http://home.btconnect.com/hgi/ps3/ps333.jpg http://home.btconnect.com/hgi/ps3/ps3JPC.jpg http://home.btconnect.com/hgi/ps3/dual.jpg X-Box2 better do better to beat PS3. |

Yeah, plus the cell can transfer data as fast as a 100gb/s, now thats fast.

Ps3 is going to blow xbox 2 away

Statistics? What statistics. And i'm not talking about adding crap games to a consoles games list, i'm talking about adding good games. But anyway at the end of the day I think all this arguing won't change anyone's opinions, and to be honest choosing the better console will always be opinion when the specs of both consoles are pretty similar. It all depends on the type games you play and if your happy to stick with it for a while. I personally like change so i'll play a game for some time and buy another one.

[quote:post_uid0="alamgir"]Statistics? What statistics.
statistics mean the surveys taken by game critics & yeah x-box online is more popular but ps2 is still owning the market overall |

And you'd only play one game that is challenging enough to you.......what community do u live in? That's bazzar |
cmon shin. dont tell me ud rather play 1000 crap games & be happy than just rather play a few or even 1 that u like
|
I dunno about any of you lot but i'd prefer to buy a console and play loads of good games, not a few good games and not a lot of crappy games...

All I know is that the DS seems better than the PSP unless Sony fixes all the defects and bugs in it. Look what I found in another forum.

Lol that looks funny man. But the PSP's still better than the DS (aside from the bugs)
