[quote:post_uid0="(~thug~)"][quote:post_uid0="haolys"]How about this... all you losers out there complaining about being forced to pick a wrong character because you were waiting to see who your opponent picks should stop caring so much about a rediculous online game. When the character select screen comes up, pick who you want, it takes 2 seconds (a gross exaggeration).
If you don't play sfo that much it isn't a big deal for you. If you don't like the game, i wonder why you at this forum. Anyways i want to see who my opponent is picking them so i can counter that character with some one strong agisnt that character. For example My oponent picks "sentinal" then i can counter with "ken". :sneaky2:
loser. You completely missed the messege of my post. Your game plan starts with stacking the odds before the fight even begins, which is rather cheap if you ask me (actually it doesn't matter if you ask me, it's still cheap). Having a timer would only create a greater opportunity for people to get an unfair advantage by "countering" the opponents character. Having an unseen timer, like have now, encourages the selection of preferred characters rather than strategic choices. The only time you would want to have any kind of character strategy is in a clan battle and/or tournament when you know who your opponent likes to use. |

That is a positive point about this whole thing. It helps against people who do pick quick, as well as those who like to try and "counter" what the opponent. I admit, i do that. But only to people I either haven't or don't remember fighting. Since i don't remember their fighting style. But anyway, you did make you point rather clear, so clsing this topic would be a good idea. |
it should be 3 seconds so no counter can be made

All i am saying put a timer that shows how much time is left so you don't get caught with a character you don't want. |
and I'm saying, for the third time i might add, that you shouldn't be waiting to pick your character at all. Therefore, you shouldn't have a problem with being "caught" with the wrong character.
Which part of this is so hard to understand? |

Which part of this is so hard to understand?
Well this can be a new feature to the game, Plus maybe your unsure who to be and just browsing around. well the clock would be a good feature, and i do wait and see who my opponet is going to pick to counter them. This is a good stragy. Edited By (~thug~) on 1114629209 |

Though we have to think about every, as well as the not so good. |
Just take the timer off if ya ask me! *ya i know im back.......* but with it being off it may have some "problems" but the timer is just a nuesense *however its spelled Oo* so it is pretty useless unless you count it as a threat saying "if you dont hurry up ill give you *and your tag team partner* ryu to play as!". So please, please, please! take it off! *dosnt sound right huh? lol*

Yes a timer for the pick of a character would be good

........... That does sound reasinable. But think about it. If the timer is off, and ppl "wait" for their opponent to pick someone so they can pick a "countering" character. BUT, take into consideration that WHAT IF your opponent waits for you to pick someone for the same reasons you do? Then what? We're here to play a fighting game, not play "The Waiting Game". Think about it...... |
