Well, I don't knwo how much akuma woudl play kliek the arcade version.. so many of his moves would probably be missing, but my votes would be for
1.akuma
2.magneto
3.gambit
4.cyclops
I hat echun-li but if sh'es the next one, it's better than nothing..

cyclops would be great, but like someone already said on this post, he is full projectile, and we need more of a mixed character, like gambit... or magneto. rogue would be nice, but i think she would be too much of a bug problem... since its better to start her moves in the air, and her super is blockable and doesnt chip, and the blocking of supers is timed wrong right now...

also... i was playing XM vs SF arcade again... and wolverines barage X is too strong in this game... just give him weapon X to equal it out, instead of beefing him up... and the projectile supers, like ryu's super hadoken are way stronger, and the chip dmg is waaay less...
the overall solution, give wolvie more speed, less dmg... like he's supposed to have, and make the fireball supers more powerful, but easier on the block and like i said before, we all want weapon X, lol :)

Magneto, Gambit, Cyclops. All have projectiles, hmm... "Cough" projectile man "Cough".

No coughing here, Akuma has a few diffrent types of projectiles, and I cough you not Chun-Li would be the best next character and TMy made a HUGE post about it if anyone remembers.

Akuma has projectiles yes. But I don't use them much. Where is this fantasy post where people chose Chun Li??
