you are partly correct...but i've been playing along time and have experienced alot of ups and downs of the game,and several versions of the game..and more laggers than i can mention,,,.i kinda agree with ya...and i kinda wanna tell ya to go sh!t in your hat :biggrin:

Ryu IS the best character at the moment..he's a great up close fighter,in addition to his huricane kick,and he's a terrific long range fighter with his fireballs and power beams...he has fewer moves that leave you open for an attack after you preform them...and with lag..the fire balls and super beams are the most effective way of eliminating your opponent..as long as you always keep your distance you always know which end of the screen your opponent is...so even if there is lag and you opponent jumped in and you didn't see it...you'll inevidably hit him with a projectile attack,makeing time for you to block or jump away...or counter...and what makes him the best is you never need to corner your opponent like with wolverine...you cant play wolverine with out cornering and win in a continous pattern,,,it's near impossible with lag...Ryu and Chun-Li would fry his fuzzy ass if he didnt corner...how ever Ryu corners just like the others...he just keeps you at a screens width insted of having to fight you into the corner.and if he does fight ya into the corner the infinit low punch is practicaly unstopable...none of the other character can preform that move as well as he can...even wolverines infinit drill claw and floor moves pale in comparison.

If Wolverine had the Weapon X he wouldn't need to go in close, because we all know it can go through a fireball.
