back in 2001: those were the days. Good fighters everywhere you looked, some even i still see today. I have many memories from the game. Those were the days when rank only mattered. I didn't even know what a forum was. It was a good feeling when you made the top 50. Even the top 100. Now it's too easy.

i mean, i already played 3 times in a row by your rules... which is "NO SPIDERMAN" then i chose spiderman and i beated your ass two times, even when you took spiderman yourself ! the first thing you have told me when you saw me use the web-head, is that i was disappointing by using such a noob character ! sorry PIP99: if i could beat you with spiderman and you had him too, that meant that you weren't just not being able to actually understand the character, now every time someone takes the wall-crawler, you just say he's a noob because you need an excuse to actually VALIDATE your defeat ! try to play a little more with other character then SENTINEL, you'll see how much you can improve by learning to be an ALL-ROUND'er ! back to the topic... things didn't change ! RANKS didn't mean anything back then, its still doesn't ! why are you all saying there was more GOOD FIGHTER back then when it was pure luck cause the lag was always over 3000 for almost everyone ! i never could been able to defeat someone, there character was always teleporting all around the screen ! back then, i could simply smash the buittons and i could win the match by luck ! because that mainly what everyone were doing ! tapping keys hoping they would hit you with it ! now, the lag has diminished a lot and now we can truly talk about skill ! definitely... the only thing that changed is the number of player and the game itself ! |

It was the only reason why i played the game. You say "rank didn't matter back then" as if it's a fact. Please, keep those thoughtless comments to yourself. |

there was no hosting, only quik gamez. yea, no one flamed you, and there was no lag wutsoever, unless it was a crappy comp with 26k modem against a similar one. and there wasn't any helpers, any other ppl except ryu, and the 1st player would be a white ryu and the second player be a black ryu.
i think this about covers what other posts didnt. (i was number 6# member to join) P.S. TMyApp, do you have record of what times ppl joined and if they were like the 11th or 12th member to join? if so what was i. actually i logged in as player alot so im not really sure i made my account. |
ok one last time answer my question. why does everyone think there a vet. once again i look at coolplayer and da_vipa... :plain:
