Actually, using blood in an attack isn't impossible. However, the people who do that, are usually assassins, or people who have studied martial arts and decided to go into the deeper, darker techniques. But those attacks are only used when there is an open wound, and when you're trying to use everything you have in order to survive; even if it means taking your own blood to do it. However, that is a desperation technique, and has nothing to do with tossing blood around. This type of attack that he describes is actually a hopeless folly, and is a mockery of the energy topic as Elena has said before me.
