[quote:post_uid0="Nferno666"]yeah...kks doesn't lag at all when i would fight him. it ran perfect
Nferno666 u r forgetting me ....LOL :D |
i think ether is laggy aas hell u cant even super jump with his cheap connection
|
Has anyone bothered to mention knoksoner. I know he was unknown to all you guys. But boy did his hyper bar move FAST. It's not like he teleported or anything. So all my attacks connected almost everytime. It's just mad lag, that i can't describe, really. I mean in two hadokens his hyper bar has already risen to 1. And before you know it his hyper bar has rached level 3. Never short of supers.
I have never experienced that kind of lag EVER BEFORE. Thats somethings because i have played people like Imagination and Nferno999. Remember the name KNOKSONER |
Whatever happened to Nferno999?
I always used to see him before, but where'd he go now? |
he was banned by Zing

Why!?!?!?

Hmm...some of you need to realize that there's a difference between lagging and exploiting certain bugs in the game. Now, allow me to explain...
If you want to be cheap, you can repeatedly juggle your opponent with Ryu simply by jumping and using HK. Now, on your screen, you're being cheap and kicking the crap out of your opponent, but on their screen, they're probably throwing fireballs at you or something else. The bottom line is, the battle you are seeing is not the same battle that your opponent is seeing. That juggling cheapness is just one example. Previously, the low punch cheat with Ryu was another one of those bugs. On their screen, they're being cheap and low punching you to death (most likely in the corner), but on your screen (if you knew how to get out of it anyways), you're already out of the corner throwing fireballs at your opponent. Now, despite the fact that you're pummeling your opponent with fireballs, they are still in the ducked position punching like a dumbass. Hmm....the only logical explanation is that on their screen, you're still trapped in the corner getting raped by low punches. Why else would they sit there low punching not making any effort to block your fireballs? Yet another example of how to exploit the game is to super jump all over the screen like crazy. On your screen, you're probably beating the crap out of your opponent, but on their screen, they've already super jumped behind you and are preparing to super your sorry ass. Why does this happen, you wonder? Well...my explanation is, you are doing some sort of repetitive combo on your opponent (e.g. standing roundhouse over and over), but on their screen, they probably blocked one of the roundhouses at some point and super jumped to the other side of the screen. Some people jump from one side of the screen to the other on purpose just to make it damn near impossible to hit them; meanwhile while they're in the air they're doing some move over and over (e.g. roundhouse, hadoken) to charge their super meter. Then when their super meter is charged, you get supered from behind. The jump lock eliminated this problem to some degree, I'd imagine, but there are several other ways to disorient your opponent. These and several other "juggling" strategies are the cause of what most of you refer to as lag. And it's also the reason why some battles seem to take forever. Now that's not to say that you all do that kind of stuff on purpose. But if you do nothing but low punches half the round, and I'm not even anywhere near you, I know what you're up to. The same thing applies to people that "teleport" all over the screen constantly. Lag is certainly part of the problem in all of these examples. And I'll be the first to admit, some people truly do lag like crazy. But I think the real culprit is, some people just know how to take advantage of the game better than others. Some of them do it on purpose, and some of them do it inadvertantly. But that doesn't necessarily mean that they lag. My definition of lag is, when your opponent is standing in one spot, not doing anything, and you're throwing endless fireballs at them, and they aren't recieving any damage. A perfect example of this is, one time I was fighting mastaq when he was on his home computer, and I swear the battle lasted at least 10 minutes. I had to have hit him with at least 30 supers. It wasn't his fault, of course. I think it's due mainly to the fact that his home computer has a slow processor, and can't keep up with the action. Another example of true lag, is when the battle just moves extremely slow, and it's hard as hell to do anything. The only way to eliminate these problems is to completely change the game, and design it so that you both see exactly the same battle. But this would require a delay on ALL of your moves (to send the information to your opponent, and vice-versa), and would make the game EXTREMELY difficult to play. You wouldn't be able to block when you needed to, and special moves would be hard to pull off. I wouldn't like it. Despite the problems, I'd rather keep the game as it is. All of this is just my opinion. But I know that certain people listed by some of you don't "lag," not by the true definition of the word. Fear_tetsuo, for example, is on cable, and has an extremely low ping. How could you possibly "lag" when your ping is low? Same with Nferno and dark-link. They're both on DSL. If you and your opponent both have fast computers and a fast connection, then I don't think lag has anything to do with the battles taking forever. It's most likely because you both are experienced, and know how to counter each other's strategy (with or without the use of cheapness). |
[quote:post_uid0="asshole"]Ok Lancer, just to prove you wrong, ill tell you my record against those people...
Starting from 1: Dark-link = 3-2 DOES Lag! DX-Zero = 2-0 Also lags! Fear = A lot-A Lot Does Lag but I admit, he was better. ( In this Online game. ) KKS = 1-0 Does Lag me... MasterKi = A lot-some DOES LAG!! Masta_Q = 1-0 Allready said about him.. Nferno = Some - A LOT!!! Yes, he does lag! PaMaLiO = 0-about 15 I'd say... He beat me a lot when I was new, and also left when I was new.. TarkanX = A Lot-A Lot! Yes, he does lag me... Profe$$or = 2-2 Yes he lagged! Zing = 2-1 I hear he was pissed at me because I beat him... And I'm sure you dont care about TMy, Quass or leftyfb... ( Oh and Incase you're wondering how come we haven't fought that much is because, most of these people cared about rank, and like I said before, I only give the people that give me a match! )
asshole ur such a showoff  i never even remember when we fought, prolly back last year b4 i got better... but those ppl on ur list arent that hard to beat (no offense) especially when there is tag right now and everyone lags EVERYONE LAGS!! and Troy88 i didnt read what u typed sorry, all i saw was fear_tetsuo, lol... |
asshole wat connection u have
maybe its just ur pc..... |
Troy88: wow... u really DO understand .. *tear*
and yeah, u'r 100% right.. the "other way" to handle "lag" in the game just wouldn't work... unless everything is super slow.. and the game takes 10 second pauses every 30 seconds  it really is very hard/impossible to pull off a "perfect" and "flawless" game inside u'r browser (shockwave is not the quake engine)... i suppose it is one of the reasons why everyone is still making pong  still... anyone who has been here long enough, HAS seen the change... and we are a LONG way from 0.1a... it will get better... no doubt... just that.... everything takes time  |
