I clicked on this post, thinking that it would be a serious discussion about something I hate: racism. Let me clearly state something. Racism is the hatred/bias of someone based on something that they CANNOT help: their RACE. This so-called n00bism or whatever the #### you call it is propostrous. People like KKS and fear_tetsuo make fun of n00bs that act like idiots. They make fun of the way they ACT (something anyone can control), not their race (something no one can control). There is a HUGE difference. To even compare the two is downright insulting. And further more, KKS and fear_tetsuo are just speaking their minds. Since when has that been such a bad thing? If I have to explain why freedom of speech is such a beautiful thing, then perhaps I should find a new forum where there aren't any communists. Very rarely do you ever see either one of them rip on a newbie that politely asks a question about the game, no, it is usually directed towards someone that gets on here and types something to the effect of, "I am the best, you all suck, I'll make you my bitch, etc." How is that kind of stupidity any less offensive than anything that KKS or fear writes? It doesn't offend me personally (actually, I think it's kinda funny ), but I can see how others would. Either way, I think they should be allowed to say whatever the #### they want (as long as it's not too hatefu).
I know you all mean well, and you probably just think that you're doing the right thing and sticking up for someone that needs it. But I think that your efforts are misguided. Stick up for the fat kid that's getting made fun of, stick up for the kid with acne, stand up against racism! But don't get mad when someone gets ripped on because they acted like an idiot, because it was 100% avoidable.
I have one more thought I'd like to add to all this. You people get offended too easily. You need to grow up and realize that there ARE people in the world that aren't always going to be polite and helpful 100% of the time. Being offended isn't going to make them go away, so learn to be more tolerant instead.
