realisticaly, Ryu would win because in real life people dont have hp. So one hit from ryu could kill ken, and ken can punch his arm twice? Come on!

Realistic: NO FIREBALLS! Ken is faster then Ryu. Ken ducts his punch and bang. Ken punches Ryu to death.

I considered that in my evaluation. In that case Ryu kicks straight up then back down and ducks wont matter.

lol, will guys quit it with the story line crap? it has no bearing on the truth of who's better, ryu or ken.....
well here's the truth, no story line crap, no personal opinion (cause i'd say ken by far) for XMvsSF heres how it is...

Ken - Definately the faster of the two, his dragon punch is more powerful, his spin kick is faster, has no delay, and chips much better... and his supers have NO delay!... definately the coolest trait in the game, #### w/ charlie fastest recovery crap.... ken can do a super in ryu's face after getting hit by a hadoken w/o ryu being able to block, now thats one #### of a trait...

Ryu- definately stronger, he's a great newbie character, his moves are easy to pull off, and his super whirlwind kick does awesome chip damage, very awesome.... his shinku hadoken is an excellent air combo finish... which is something Ken is lacking, a air super...

Conclusion-
Ryu's overall equal to Ken... but, not at a mastery level.. i've never seen or heard of a mastered Ryu beating a mastered Ken at the arcade, never, and i used to play this every Saturday, for hours.
And i think we can all agree to my statement, because its very truthful, and not opinionized.
and please stop this thread because you guys are just gonna fight over some stupid storyline, which is useless.
