well personally..... i think the reason the forum is so boring latley is because of..............HALO 2!!!! since that game came out.. the forum has just been a wastland..... a "Ghost forum" if you will... unless they beat that game soon.... i fear for the sfo forum... :ghostface: :ghostface: :ghostface:

Halo II has simply nothing to do with it, its been like this for almost a year now, that's why a few of the mods already asked TMyApp to completely shut down RI since it had no more purpose. but other mods fought for it to stay there and it did, now what i wonder is why have we fought for if all that is in RI is all retarded topics ?
i mean come on, it is a place for insanity and random comments but in no way must you act all stupid in it cause there is a limit between STUPIDITY and INSANITY, i know its a small limit, yet it is there. but most of you just go too far and cross that line. as for the changes in others, i know changes is good, but what's the point of changing who you are in the first place ? can't blame them for wanting to be better and take their lives more seriously, but i must say that changing who we are is just something people shouldn't do ! i must also say that most of the ones i named changed because they became NWO's or MODERATORS or even ADMINS... is that the truth about being a mod ? changing so we aren't fun anymore ? Fun is in the heart not in the job... when you lose the fun factor, you lose everything you become a machine. and that is what this topic is all about, making people realise how machine we became in here. we post, we get post counts and we post again so our post counts gets even higher ! its all repetitive now... can't this forum be like it was a year and a half ago ? can't it be as fun as it was ? i know this forum isn't as exciting as the game itself, but this is still a fun place to be, so why making it that bad ? let me tell you a small story about myself... it starts in a time where almost every topic i was reading thru... a time where i could easily pass around an hour just to read all of them not even answering for i needed more then an hour to do so ! this era is gone, its again that time of the year where people don't post much and that brings my reading time to around 15 minutes ! that's a big difference if you ask me ! but again i told myself that it would pass, hell i been saying this to myself for the last 6 months and the forum still hasn't come back in track. thus my story ends in a dull and pathetic way because in the last 6 months, fun is what i lacked when coming here ! i just hope this thread will make some of you realised the truth and try to make this place a better world, for i alone is not capable of it ! |

its boring cause ppl keep spamming the good topics that we have, and they end up getting deleted so now were stuck with lame ones like "guess whos under my chair" oh "whos the best looking couple" dubya tee eff is that crap!?!?!!? GAH!!! but really, who gives a f u c k?

mods doesn't have anything to do with it and you know it !
the problem you're facing right now is not the mods doing their job its the number of people who think RI is all about breaking the forum rules and do things they wouldn't do in any other forum, they think they can do anything without getting flamed so they do whatever they want which is wrong. as for the two threads mentionned before, well you forgot the SPAM topic created by asshole and the LOVE topic created by warmor, what are they good for ? they both are pure spam without reasons ! |
