We rescued the remaining Jews from those Nazi bastards, and did we have any "hidden agendas?" No. Did we do it for free? Yes. Did we ask them for anything in return? No. Sounds kind of selfless to me. We went into Vietnam to stop the communists from overruning South Vietnam. Did we do it for free? Yes. Did we ask South Vietnam for anything in return? No. Did we have any "hidden agendas?" Nothing that the rest of the world didn't know about (we wanted to get rid of Communism). Sounds kind of selfless to me. Same thing with Korea, and look at them: they've got one of the best economies in the world. On Iraq: Actually, we launched Desert STORM to get Iraq OUT OF Kuwait/Saudi Arabia (one of those.) And they wanted their own oil sources to be the ONLY sources in the middle east...that's why they set the oil fields on fire when we kicked their asses out of there. |
